Why Do Children Die?

The heat in St. Louis has been brutal in August.

A little girl died recently here in a car because her parents neglected to remember who was taking her to day care:

I drive around in the afternoons and evenings each day so I have time to listen to talk radio. Some folks have demanded that the parents of this little girl be prosecuted.

If these parents should be prosecuted, then the parents of all children who die should be prosecuted. I say this because of a simple question: Why do children die?

The correct answer is milk, and that is why I have asked this question here.

What Is Death?

Hi Everyone,

What exactly is death? Is death a friend or a foe? Is death a consequence or a punishment?

We should always allow for exceptions, but this principal is remarkably accurate concerning death as a punishment: ELOHIM does not punish the children for the sins of the parents, and neither does ELOHIM punish the parents for the sins of the children. Examine:

Deuteronomy 24:16
16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

So, death can indeed be a punishment according to the Torah (Law) of ELOHIM.

The above principal is right in the sight of ELOHIM, and ELOHIM always does that which is right in HIS sight!

The age of accountability before ELOHIM is twenty years old.

Accordingly, when a child dies before becoming an adult at the age of 20, his or her death is not a punishment; rather, it is a consequence. So, death can be either a consequence of sin or a punishment for sin, and the death of children because of their lack of accountability is a consequence of sin that is not their own. Children die as a consequence of the sin of others. In death, they are types of Messiah.

Was the death of Adam, a consequence or a punishment?

Should you yourself grow old, get sick, and die, will your death be a consequence or a punishment?

Death is a consequence of sin, and sin is the transgression of ELOHIM'S Law! If one sins, one will die. Why does sin cause death? Why does sin cause the spirit to separate from the body?

Sophia Knutsen's spirit separated from her body because her parents made a mistake, and ELOHIM did not intervene to save her life (A passerbyer could have come by much sooner).

Ultimately, the spirit of sinners will separate from their bodies because they have made mistakes, and ELOHIM did not intervene to save their lives.

Sophia Knutsen had need of a savior, didn't she? Do you need a savior?

Salvation!

Hi Everyone,

Most murderers desire to be saved from execution. Man slaughterers desire to be spared prison time. Many facing death would give everything that they possess to live and not die. Normally, everyone would desire to be saved from the consequences of their actions, and most would desire to be spared from punishment for their actions.

When we think of salvation, we think of being saved from both consequences and punishments. We should really think of being saved from the causes of both.

Sin is the cause of both. This is elementary. This is fundamental. To be saved from death, one must be saved from sin. One must repent. He who repents shall live.

The sinner cannot live. His or her spirit will eventually separate from their physical body. All who physically die (save for martyrdom) have not been saved. Pure and simple!!!
