The Footstool!
Hi Everyone,
Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!
My Mother died last January. Shortly before her death, while living in a rehabilitation facility, she told me that she desired either to come home (to my house) or to go home to Jesus. She did return to my house, and she died the next day.
You see, my Mother viewed death as a portal to Jesus, and, therefore, somewhat of a friend. I did not dispute her words about going home to Jesus with her the last few years of her life, but I would often mention to her and to my Father about the possibility of living and not dying. I desired that they both live and not die.
You see, I view death as an enemy. It is an enemy that must be destroyed. How is death to be destroyed? Think about it! To be sure, death is overcome through the resurrection. Messiah Yahushua overcame death through HIS Resurrection, but HIS overcoming does not destroy death. Death still exists for the vast, vast majority of mankind. So, how is death to be destroyed?
The Resurrected Messiah Yahushua does now sit at the right hand of the Father according to this scripture:
Psalms 110:1
1 A Psalm of David. YAHWEH said unto my ADON, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
How on Earth does Our Heavenly Father begin to make death a footstool under the feet of Messiah Yahushua?
Allow me to give you a hint! Have you ever placed your feet upon a footstool? Our feet are symbolic for our walk in life. Is your walk of such a nature that the feet of Messiah Yahushua are at rest?
