Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Recently, through various studies, I was made aware of the Lilith of

Isaiah 34:14
14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall preach to his brother; the screech owl (Lilith, Night Owl) also shall rest there, and find for herself a home.

I first was drawn to the "Lilith" of Isaiah 34 because this is the only reference to her in the Scriptures, and this made me curious as to whom she may represent in a spiritual sense.

Eve, A Side Of Adam?

Formerly, my Wife and I along with several other members of A Church of God and their Wives studied on a weekly basis with a young Hasidic missionary who in my opinion had a whole lot on the ball concerning Judaism and mysticism. This young rabbi in training was impressed by the whole demeanor of our wives. He noticed their attentiveness and their silence, and he correctly concluded that our wives were properly submissive.

This young rabbi in training was the student of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and this young rabbi introduced our group to The Bible Unauthorized by H. Moose. This translation of the beginning chapters of Genesis served as the basis of a number a very good studies and discussions.

The Bible Unauthorized advocates the idea that Adam and Eve were originally created united in one flesh with Eve being a side of Adam. Later, Eve was given a separate existence by HaShem who then presented Eve to Adam in marriage.

This teaching made sense to me. I completely accepted the idea that Adam and Eve were originally created complete both male and female in one body, and I still do today. So, I reject the myth that Lilith was the first wife of Adam, but please understand that this does not mean that Lilith does not exist. She exists as a very evil spirit.

If Eve was created as a side of Adam, which side is She?

The Backside!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Clearly, Adam was made a living soul in the image of YAHWEH ELOHIM. This physical image was both male and female. Thus, man has two sides. Adam was unaware of his female side until YAHWEH caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and his female side was separated from him by YAHWEH.

If this female side previously existed on the right or left side of Adam, then Adam would have been aware of her existence, but Adam was unaware so the female side existed in a place where she could not be seen, that is, upon his backside.

This female side could not interact with Adam before her separation from him, and, therefore, she was not in control of her own body. She followed Adam wherever he went, and she could observe wheresoever Adam had been, but she had little insight into his activity along the way.

Man is an image and a glory of YAHWEH ELOHIM; therefore, I believe that the female side of man represents in a spiritual sense the past of YAHWEH ELOHIM with the male side representing in a spiritual sense the present of YAHWEH ELOHIM.

The future is determined by a synthesis of the past and the present after both are fully made aware of each other.

Marriage, therefore, is the union of the past with the present in order to give birth to the future.

Many scriptures and sayings of Yahushua were considered in expanding this view.

Here is one significant saying:

Luke 4:8
4 And Yahushua answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YAHWEH thy ELOHIM, and him only shalt thou serve.

Apparently, the backside of Messiah is the proper dwelling place of HaSatan. HaSatan is in HIS past, and HaSatan has no place in the present or in the future. Why?

The Glory!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Please notice here the Glory of the FATHER. This is according to the KJV:

Romans 6:4
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Messiah was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

And here is a possible alternate translation:

Romans 6:4
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Messiah was raised up from the dead because of the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Who or what is the Glory of the FATHER? Was Messiah Yahushua really raised by the Glory, or was Messiah raised because of the Glory (John 17:5, 22, 24)?

Man is an image and a glory of ELOHIM (1 Corinthians 11:7); Messiah Yahushua, Himself, is brightness of glory and express image of the Father (Hebrews 1:3). This is why I have taught on this forum and elsewhere that Messiah Yahushua is the Mother of all the Living. In other words, in a spiritual sense, Messiah is to ELOHIM what Eve was to Adam in a physical sense minus all the rebellion and sin.

Woman is the glory of man, and this is why, despite my divorce, I have not given my glory to another. As it is written:

Isaiah 42:8
8 I am YAHWEH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Concerning Messiah, YAHWEH says this:

Isaiah 43:4-7
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people (a gathering) for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

As a woman, in a physical sense, has seed within herself so also does Messiah Yahushua, in a spiritual sense, have seed within Himself. This Seed comprises all the Living, and this Seed is gathered through announcing the Good News, the true Gospel to all Israel. Through faith in the Gospel, the Seed of Messiah is united with the sperm (the spirit) of YAHWEH ELOHIM to form Sons and Daughters in the womb of Messiah.

All spirit of Lilith is purged from these Sons and Daughters through the gathering, the suffering and death of Messiah. Messiah was not formed with any such spirit within Himself. Messiah said:

Get thee behind me, Satan!

A Creature Of The Night!

Notice that Lilith is the original feminist. Her spirit is charismatic and seductive and rebellious, and while claiming equality, she is actually seeking to dominate and control; otherwise, why does she come to men in the middle of the night in order to steal their seed (their strength), and why does she also seek to kill all those who would enter into covenant with YAHWEH? She is a powerful enemy.

The Spirit Of Lilith!

Obviously, the whole idea of Lilith, being the first wife of Adam, is a myth, and as we have just seen, this myth was articulated in the eleventh century by the Alphabet of Ben Sira:

The practice of present day Islam concerning wives and women seems to me to justify their belief in the existence of the spirit of Lilith as put forward by Jewish mystics. It almost seems as if the spirit of Lilith is indeed catching, and that the women of the world need to guarded and protected from that spirit; therefore, the Jews take many precautions, and so do Muslims.

What about Christians? Consider Paul's declarations concerning women:

1 Timothy 2:9-15
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 But (which becometh women professing ELOHIMNESS) with good works.
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Does the spirit of Lilith among women today accept these intentions willingly? I think not! Therefore, Lilith appears to be alive and well!

Poor, Poor Old Solomon!

At one time, I was perplexed by this statement of Solomon concerning women:

Ecclesiastes 7:25-29
25 I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: (and so did I)
26 And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth ELOHIM shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.
27 Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:
28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.
29 Lo, this only have I found, that ELOHIM hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

My Grandfather, with a twinkle in his eye, used to say, "Poor old George", and I am inclined here to say: Poor, poor old Solomon.

Why could you not find a virtuous woman, Solomon?:

Proverbs 31:10
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Did you look in too many places, Solomon? I looked only in one place, and I would have bet my right arm that I had found a virtuous woman. What happened? Can a virtuous woman suddenly become Lilith? Humm?

Perhaps, I should look again, but what if poor, poor old Solomon has been right all along?

Survival?

Acknowledging your birthday, do you know what makes for survival? Hear the Word of YAHWEH:

Isaiah 10:20-23
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon YAHWEH, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty EL.
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the destructive wound shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the ADONAI YAHWEH of hosts shall make a completion, a wounding, in the midst of all the land.

There are few Survivors who escape this wounding. Consider what David says concerning the enemies of ELOHIM:

Psalms 68:21
21 But ELOHIM shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

Know that covenant breakers, and those that despise their spouses, and those that lead others to despise their spouses, know that those who rail (screech) against their parents and those who lead their siblings into the darkness of the night, know that all such will not survive without being granted the mercy of repentance.

Indeed, Rovivus, of what will you survive?
