What Is Spirit?

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Recently, I had the pleasure of debating a number of evil spirits on the Reluctant-Messenger Forum. Messiah has made me a sprinkler so debating via the written word is the manner in which I do sprinkle evil spirit.

Needless to say, most spirits reject this sprinkling, and many are adversarial because they imagine that they are already good spirits having no need of purification.

I deemed it necessary to take a break from the Reluctant-Messenger Forum because of the sin of denial. Often denial is present, and after a while, debate ends because the members of the forum ask for my removal from the forum. In this instance, because of the persistent presence of denial, I chose to remove myself, hoping that a change my manifest itself because of the sprinkling.

What is spirit, and what is the essential nature of spirit, and what is the sin against the spirit? Are good and evil themselves spirits?

Good questions that have need of answers!

Reproducing Spirit!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

What is spirit? Consider these words of Yahushua:

John 3:6
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Notice the definite article highlighted before "Spirit". The presence of the definite article here indicates that Messiah is speaking of a very specific "Spirit". Notice further that Messiah's words here tell us all that the Spirit can reproduce itself. Who is this Spirit that can reproduce itself?

The Apostle John tells us plainly right here:

1 John 4:7-9
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of ELOHIM; and every one that loveth is born of ELOHIM, and knoweth ELOHIM.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not ELOHIM; for ELOHIM is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of ELOHIM toward us, because that ELOHIM sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Notice that the purpose of this manifested love is to give life to mortals. What therefore is love? We are informed right here:

1 John 5:3
3 For this is the love of ELOHIM, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

And here through the Apostle Paul:

Romans 13:10
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

And here through Messiah Himself:

John 14:21
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Clearly, the Spirit reproduces Itself through love. This love is both a physical and spiritual keeping of the Torah with the spiritual keeping always having the spiritual right of way over against the physical keeping of the Torah so to speak, and additional righteous spirit is born from this combined keeping of Torah:

1 John 2:29
29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

The Righteous YAHWEH ELOHIM, who is Spirit, is righteous because this Spirit always practices righteousness, and in doing so, is able to reproduce or multiply Itself.

That which is born of the Spirit is spirit

So, the keeping of the Torah gives birth to spirit, and Moses teaches that the keeping of the Torah is good and that the transgression of the Torah is evil:

Deuteronomy 30:15
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Does good give birth to evil? Absolutely not! So, Good is indeed Holy Spirit!

Our Spiritual Hearts!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

How do I know that GOOD and evil are spirits. I know through these words of Yahushua:

Matthew 12:34-37
12 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The physical is an image of the spiritual. We all have a physical heart, and everyone recognizes that Messiah speaks above about our spiritual heart. This spiritual heart resides in each man, and from this spiritual heart comes forth our words. Our words appear to be physical. They are formed breath, but they come from the nature inside each of us, and this nature, if Messiah is speaking correctly here, is spiritual.

That which is born of spirit is spirit. If evil comes forth from men out of the abundance of their hearts, then evil is a spirit, and if evil is a spirit, then GOOD is also a spirit.

Being Evil!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Messiah said:

Matthew 7:11
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Who are all these "being evil" beings who are indeed ELOHIM like?:

Psalms 14:2-3
2 YAHWEH looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek ELOHIM.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The whole world is corrupt (verse 1), but not so YAHWEH:

Psalms 25:8
8 Good and upright is YAHWEH: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Only, YAHWEH, out of the good treasure of HIS heart, can give good gifts to corrupted mankind. Only, YAHWEH is good, and only the Spirit of YAHWEH is good:

Nehemiah 9:20
20 Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.

No so, HaSatan! HaSatan is evil, and he is also spirit. YAHWEH placed HIS good spirit in Adam and Eve, and they became living souls. YAHWEH, therefore, sowed HIS good seed, HIS good sperm, in good ground in order that men may live. HaSatan came along and sowed his seed in YAHWEH'S good ground, and the spirit of man was corrupted thereby in order that men may die. A little leaven, a little lie, a little evil word enters and leavens or corrupts the whole lump. We all have gone astray because our spirits are no longer good. We are now like HaSatan. We have become thoroughly evil.

Is there a solution to this condition of corruption, this dilemma of good and evil?

And Fruiting Death!

Messiah said this about HIS Speech (Gk: Rhema=spoken words):

John 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, are spirit and are life.

This Spoken Word of Messiah, coming from the good treasure of HIS Heart, has the power to save mankind from their evil condition. This salvation is good news.

The spoken word of HaSatan, coming from the evil treasure of his heart, opposes the salvation of mankind by speaking lies. All who believe his words die in their sins. HaSatan's rhema is also spirit, and this speech is death.

How might we distinguish between these two spirits: Good and Evil?

They are made manifest through what is born of them, through their fruit!

Romans 6:20-22
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to ELOHIM, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Whosoever serves the GOOD (only ELOHIM is GOOD) gives birth to life. Whosoever serves the Evil, that is, HaSatan and sin, gives birth to death.

Do not be deceived or conflicted about this knowledge. All those that die a physical death, except through martyrdom, die in and by their sins. One cannot fruit death and claim to be good or of the GOOD.

Corrupted Spirit!

Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

YAHWEH is good and only doeth good. HaSatan is evil and only doeth evil. Both are spirits. Whence cometh these spirits in man?:

Genesis 2:7
7 And YAHWEH ELOHIM formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

What is this breath of life? This is the answer of Yahushua:

John 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth (makes alive or gives life); the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, are spirit, and are life.

Did YAHWEH ELOHIM breathe evil spirit into man? Absolutely not! Only good spirit can make alive or give life to our flesh.

How then did the good spirit in us become so evil as testified by this scripture?:

Genesis 6:5
5 And YAHWEH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

James also testifies concerning this very spirit:

James 4:5
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us intensely craves towards spite (ill will)?

This spirit is the spirit of YAHWEH which has been thoroughly corrupted in man as has been indicated above. YAHWEH calls this spirit, "My spirit", right here:

Genesis 6:3
3 And YAHWEH said, My spirit shall not always strive (rule) with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

I want to also quote this scripture from the Septuagint so that the reader may have greater opportunity of acquiring the sense of what it being communicated here:

Genesis 6:4
4 And YAHWEH ELOHIM said, My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men forever, because they are flesh, but their days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

As it is written:

Ecclesiastes 7:29
29 Lo, this only have I found, that ELOHIM hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Notice carefully the implications of this little study:

• YAHWEH placed HIS GOOD SPIRIT in man.
• And this good spirit has been thoroughly corrupted by man.

Can corrupted spirit remain in flesh?

Seeking Spirits!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Absolutely not! The Apostle Paul understood our physical nature, that is, our physical flesh, a living soul, to be representative of an evil heart:

Galatians 5:17
17 For the flesh desires after the Spirit, and the Spirit after the flesh: but these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The desires of the flesh are rather simple. The flesh thinks and believes with a physical brain according to what is physically seen and heard. The flesh must be comforted and cared for to be kept alive. The flesh craves more and more life, and the flesh fears death. The flesh must eat, drink, sleep, make love, work, rest, wash, be warmed against freezing, be cooled when hot, and the flesh must be kept safe and secure from those that would do it harm both man and beast, and also from illness and disease.

The flesh craves life not really knowing that it is the spirit of ELOHIM that makes the flesh alive:

Ecclesiastes 3:11
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that ELOHIM maketh from the beginning to the end.

So, physical men seek after life through their physical works, not knowing that doing physical works no matter whether they be good or evil have no power to make alive; rather, it is the spiritual work of ELOHIM that gives man the spiritual energy of life. Discover it, and you have found something very precious. Do it, and you have been given continued life, a veritable fountain of youth.

Allow me to give an example here: Christians imagine that they possess the correct belief. They preach and teach this or that belief until the day they die. They think with their physical minds imagining that they belief spiritual things. None of their beliefs, none of their deeds, have the power to deliver them from death. It makes no difference what they variously believe, barring violence, they all grow old, get sick, and die.

GOOD is a spiritual work that gives life to our flesh. Evil is a spiritual work that takes or destroys the life of our flesh. Both of these spirits exist seeking after the other, and, in man, evil has dominated and corrupted the good.

Does ELOHIM have a solution?
