The end of any age has always been accompanied by the appearance of Angelic Messengers, as at the birth of Jesus, and as in the days of Lot... The strong interest in Angels which is presently being demonstrated not only by Christians, but by the worldly element also, is characteristic of the times in which we are living. The public interest in Psychics and in Psychic Phenomena are also strong indicators that we are about to witness some radical changes in the world around us.
Recently, during a trip to Portland OR, Bro. Paul Gerig and I had the opportunity of meeting with the Prophet David Haile of Salem OR; and were very intrigued by what he had to say.. About a year ago, he had been speaking at a Full Gospel Businessmen's meeting in Portland, when a gentleman asked him to come by his business establishment after the meeting so he could give him a certain book. He did so, and while he was there a phone call came in from Billings, MT asking for Bro. David Haile. Since this was David's first time ever at this establishment (which happened to be a Bible Book Store), and no one knew that he was there except himself and the owner, they were both quite surprised to say the least!! The caller would give no more information about himself than that his name was "Brother John," but as he spoke to David, he began to reveal to him many things on a personal level that he could have had no way of knowing except by the Holy Spirit.
Brother John said that he would get together with him personally at a later date, and that he had been sent by the Lord to impart to Bro. Haile and to two other Prophetic individuals also living in the Northwestern US, the Mantle of Elijah. Bro. Haile's last name spelled backward (From right to left), as a native of Israel would spell it, is ELIAH, or ELIJAH!! He promised that he would meet with Bro. Haile in person sometime in the very near future, which he did. About two months later Bro. Haile was getting his car washed and was surprised to see a well groomed, elderly type gentleman staring at him through his windshield. The man stepped up and introduced himself to David as "Bro. John" and invited him and his wife to meet with him over dinner at a local Restaurant. During the next two hours many questions were answered concerning End-Time events. David was amazed at the old man's depth of knowledge both of the Scriptures and how he knew by the Spirit many things David and his wife had only recently experienced..
I asked Bro. Haile "how old did the man appear to be?" and he said that it was incredibly hard to judge his age, because there were very few wrinkles on his skin, yet he seemed close to Eighty, but he got around like a much younger man.
One important bit of Doctrinal information that was imparted by Bro. John was that the "Half Hour of silence in Heaven" was nearly over (as of one year ago). This agrees perfectly with what the Lord has been revealing to my Spirit over the last three and one half years... In fact, he said that the Half Hour was actually 42 Months, or 3 1/2 years long.
This kind of thing may not mean anything to the average reader, but to one like myself who is considered by the run-of-the mill element to be somewhat off in left field, this bit of strong Scriptural confirmation is very encouraging... Someone is asking "Who is this Brother John"? To which we respond "An Angel, or Messenger sent from God - Possibly John the Revelator himself, sent to confirm to believers that which the Spirit has been saying unto the Churches -The Called out ones.."
