  • ''The staff [rod] of king David.''

could be very interesting... to seek out information upon~!

    A king's scepter, which was once a shepherd's staff.
somethings are most interestin' to seek out.

Jethro had planted in his garden a marvelous rod, which had been created on the sixth day of the Creation, on Friday afternoon, and had been given to Adam.[12] This curious rod had been handed down through Enoch, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to Joseph, at whose death it came into the possession of Pharaoh's court.[12]

Jethro, who saw it there, stole it and planted it in his garden.[12] On the rod were engraved the name of God and the initials of the ten plagues destined for Egypt.[12]

Jethro asked every one who wished to marry one of his daughters to pull up the rod; but no suitor had yet succeeded in doing so.[12] Moses, on being set at liberty, walked in the garden, saw the rod, and read the inscription.[12]
He easily pulled it out of the ground and used it for a staff[12]

Jethro thereby recognized Moses as the deliverer of Israel, and gave him the virtuous Zipporah as wife, together with much money
("Book of Jasher" "D. Y.," and "Midrash Wayosha" l.c.).[12]

    * deliverer - with a Shepherd's rod
    * deliverer - with a King's Authority.
what would be interesting to discover is if this ''rod'' was passed down to King David.... down the line so to speak.~!

    a shepherd's rod.
    a king's sceptre

do we think of a long stick as a shepherd's rod?

how would a long crook-like stick help us?

a shepherd looks after his sheep with a staff

how would the Good Shepherd look after His sheep especially when sheep are considered the most foolish of all animals.
    with a staff?

a shepherd's STAFF, means different things to different people.
a staff cannot help us can it- by what if the Good Shepherd becomes the shepherd of our Psyche~!-or ~! shepherds a believer into the ability to choose correctly

    now that makes sense hey!

He shepherds our Psyche [mind] so we choose correctly and when a believer learns to choose correctly they are then allowed to go about ''their Father's business'' without continual correction.

The Good Shepherd turns a believer into HIS WAYS OF THINKING so He becomes THE LORD/RULER/AUTHORITY over our mind.
    now look what Peter says
''And when the CHIEF SHEPHERD shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away''
    1 peter 5 v 4
People have NO shepherd, they are as foolish as sheep who run and scatter.
religion has done this very thing - it has scattered its foolish sheep therefore HE cannot appear in them.

when is this Good Shepherd going to ''appear''....ummmm... a day, a year a 1,000years?
DOES HE APPEAR to a believer as He draws them too Himself and then HE OPENS the Scriptures up to them and begins His workmanship upon them as they have been choosen from the foundation of the world.

      Yahushua said ''sin no more''

the Good Shepherd, will shepherd our mind to '' sin no more''
these 3 words were spoken to 1 man and 1 woman.
      ''go and sin no more''

now ofcourse most people roll over backwards and laugh.....sin no more....whats that~! everyone sins.

      stop right there......
We are advised to put off our corruption and put on incorruption.
We are advised by Father ''be ye perfect as I am perfect''.

Do we all think when Yahushua spoke these 3 words to these 2 people they would have obeyed Him, so simply laughted it all off as some weird joke and said ''we can't do that''.

do ye think there might actually be a ''better way'' meaning the transformation of our minds so sin no longer holds us in its vices.

      consider this mind change,

a]the wages of sin is death.
      b]Go and sin no more.

a] to experience the weakening second to have our sin manifest
b] to receive with joy the empowerment not to sin.

the Good Shepherd....shall deliver us from all of our sins by giving His Sheep HIS EMPOWERMENT to resist.
There comes a time in a believer's life were they hear their Good Shepherd say to them
      go and sin no more.
The scriptures are opened to them
Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things [is] death.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
When Yahushua looked at the crowds he saw sheep scattered and having NO shepherd.
Because of this they grew faint and were ruled over by their own will and emotions = Math 9 v 36

notice the BN - no 9 is fruit AND judgement
notice the BN - no 36 is the enemy.

These people called the MULTITUDES, were judged by being controlled over by the enemy.
yet Messiah had compassion UPON A PEOPLE who were confused and had many great misconceptions.
It is the same story today as nothing changes except the faces.

this situation is told here in Isa 1 v 5-6
Isa 1:5 ¶ Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Isa 1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head [there is] no soundness in it; [but] wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
People were unable to receive the Spirit to heal them so they would ''sin no more''...everything about them was ill

MESSIAH allows His believer to receive HIS THINKING, so when temptations come they are given the SOUNDNESS OF HIS MIND, to be empowered by the Spirit to say NO~!.even to the last enemy death is overcome.

cont - each one of us lives here in ''the valley in the SHADOW of death''

        the shadow of death.
        death is a shadow.
the valley is a low place - the valley of the LOW PLACE called death - could this place be - the carnalminded realm of all human beings.

        a shadow word def.
        : partial darkness or obscurity
        : a reflected image
: shelter from danger or observation
: an imperfect and faint representation
        : an imitation of something
        : copy
: the dark figure cast upon a surface by a body intercepting the rays from a source of light
        : phantom

the valley of the shadow of death - a valley of imperfect representation~!
the valley of the shadow of death - a valley of imperfect representation~!
the valley of the shadow of death - a valley of imperfect representation~!

our carnal mind gives us all -imperfect representation~!
how we all think is wrong.
        we have hope.
"I am the good Shepherd, and know My sheep."
        = His sheep ARE MARKED~!
"According as He has chosen us in Him [Christ] before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love."
        without blame
        before HIM in love.

Do ye think in this postion one would now escape from the ''shadow of death's valley''?

nothing is alive in death valley ! Just the remains ghost towns.
        *The ghosts of fallen lives
        *The ghosts of unregenerated spirits.
        * Ghosts ships posing as fellowship.

The rod is used for SEPARATING purposes too as He will separate our thoughts so that HE CASTS OUT the death thougt-life within our carnalmindedness and replaces it with His divine style of thinking =
''who called me by His grace, to reveal, His Son in me."
        Oh, high and holy calling!
Called and reminded and then moved into A HIGH AND HOLY CALLING.

The shepherd's rod is for our protection against the howling wolves.
Howling wolves come in all shapes and sizes and we know them by ''their howling''.[fruit]

        howling word def.
: producing or marked by a sound resembling a howl
        : desolate, wild
        * wolves howl in the wilderness.
        * People died in the wilderness because of UNBELIEF.
        * wolves howl in different pitches.
        * wolves are a wild predator, howling in a mournfull sound.

For me, this whole scenario [howling] describes the aposate church and her cry of greed and empire-building and fleecing... also.... the howls of evil in this world as people believe this world before they would believe in A LIVING SAVIOUR AND HIS GREAT SHEPHERDING ministry.

Miracles abounded around the children of Israel yet all over 20yrs died in the wilderness with the exception of 2 spies.
people die from a wilderness experience UNLESS the Good shepherd protects His sheep by giving them THE SAME MIND THAT IS WITHIN HIMSELF.

          cont...a valley of ''imperfect'' representation~!

That is a believer's walk in the widerness as they learn HOW TO LEAN on the arm of their Beloved.
Sgs 8:5 Who [is] this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth [that] bare thee.
learning to lean means - learning how to be rid of any inner turmoil.
To love from above in the other realm, where this realm becomes secondary.
