Hi Everyone,

I have a great love and interest in the study of military history. I never served in a physical war, but I know that I am involved in a spiritual war; therefore, I study physical war.

How many of you have watched the HBO series "Band of Brothers"? I don't think that I have ever witnessed a more inspiring example of leadership than Capt. Dick Winters leading his men in a desperate charge against the Germans in Operation Market Garden. His leadership was Messiah like.

Recently, I read a personal account of this charge in the May 06 issue of WWII History. This article is entitled, "The Island." I have never quite read anything like this personal account by Dick Winters, and I would encourage all to go to a book store and read the article or buy the book from which the article was excerpted: "Beyond Band of Brothers."

In this article, Capt. Winters admits that after he determined to take the battle directly to the enemy that he asked ELOHIM to give him strength. His leadership here was outstanding as those who watched the series could very well see.

What we could not see in the HBO series recreation, was the perception of Capt. Winters as he led this charge. I have never heard or read a description of combat quite like what Capt. Winters describes. He admits that he seemed to be floating across the field in his charge easily outdistancing all of his men. Atop the dike, all the movements of the enemy appeared to him to be in slow motion. Capt. Winters cannot give a reason for this perception. He thinks that he is experiencing a mental trance. The movements of everyone else seemed out of synch to him. Only his own movements seemed normal. Capt. Winters relates that he had never experienced in combat anything similar before.

I don't know, but I feel that Capt. Winters received the help from ELOHIM that he asked for. Capt. Winters was actually moving faster than everyone else. His movements were not normal. That is why he survived what should have been sure death for him.

I bring all of this up because I know that in spiritual warfare, time and space were modified in a spiritual sense for Messiah Yahushua when he led his charge on the Cross. This physical experience of Capt. Winters is not the same as what happened with Messiah, but it is a type of what did occur, and it helps me believe. I hope it does the same for you.

between physical warfare and SPIRITUAL warfare.
In physical warfare you destroy and get rid of.
I never really had to defend myself
because I would attack and destroy.

In SPIRITUAL warfare,
you have to put up with the same evil spirits in different people
again and again.

For a long time now, this big, bad dude has been terrorizing my family completely, having everything his way. Every morning (every new generation), he walks down the sidewalk, and just one look from him, and most flee to the other side of the street! Hey, I am just a kid, and right now I am having back problems so much so that I can hardly work. The body armour is heavy, and it makes me immobile. Is it ok with you, if I just pull my slingshot out of my back pocket and a marble out of my front pocket and smack that dude in the forehead as hard as I can?

Yes, you have found the story line. I think that you might enjoy watching the HBO recreation of the activity of Easy Company from induction in the paratroopers through the end of the WWII in Europe. I sure know that I did.

it was not so much the verse but the numbering of this verse.. 7-11 that took my eye... as it is a number that tells me to ''EXPECT THE BEST''
I have to come forth out from my grave of sin... and IN Christ only~! can i ''slay'' my sin with spiritual warfares [logistics]... when I do this I EXPECT THE BEST amen.

IT IS ''IN'' the slaying of the no 11 = chaos and dis-order, we have to learn HOW to CLING TO HIS WORD and then EXPECT THE BEST from our ''clinging''.
This is the path of an overcomer and it is not so easy to walk this way, as not too many have the courage to lay aside their own lives and walk the path of a living sacrifice.

no 7 = perfection..
SHALL ONLY happen as we lay aside all our personal weights no matter what their name is and ALLOW THE MIRACLE OF LIFE to replace the destroy all death in me.

Thank you for loving me enough by not insisting that I wear the whole armor of ELOHIM while I train to fight Leroy, and I am especially grateful that you will allow me to use a slingshot instead of submitting to every word of the Torah.

Your kind grace to me allows me to stay in St. Louis, Missouri (I am one of those who fled across the street when Leroy looked at me.) and eat him; otherwise, I would have to immigrate to Israel and first destroy the physical inhabitants of our Land as the Torah commands before I could even begin to think of enjoying Leroy:

2 And Israel vowed a vow unto YAHWEH, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

Lady Lucy knows that Leroy Brown is a symbol for death, and she immediately understands as she reads needing no further clarification from me. This may also occur with Israelthebride and with various others. We are stimulated by symbolic language. Was anyone moved to look up the name "Leroy" to see what it means? Go look! The same with Doris? Go look!

How were you moved when Lady Lucy blessed me by saying that ELOHIM was making me into a Lt. Winters in the spiritual? I know the story so I knew. This scripture came to mind:
