  • Great need of prayer

Shalom to all of my brothers and sisters

i would like to appologize for not posting in the past but due to my life being so busy i was unable to post. Yes, from time to time i would check to see what is happening.

i am sorry that i am posting now when i am in a need of prayer.

The reason why i need you all to pray for Yah's will to be done in my family's life as well as in the children that we foster. We have been fostering for the past 5 years and as of march 19, 2001 we have Kyle living with us who is a crown ward (will never return home but has visitis with biological family every other weekend, friday-sunday) and as of Aug.8/01 we have 3 boys (brothers) that are now going for adoption. We know that keeping both placements is imposible (or so we maybe think) due to the influence of Kyle. In my heart i can't give up any of them and i would need prayer and guidance from our Heavenly Father. The last thing i would want to do is to go AGAINST Yah's will.

Please pray for us, pray that the Spirit will work in us.

Thank you all and may He bless you and keep you always.

    Hi LoveForYah,

I was saddened by your post. I did say a prayer for you and your family. From what I know of you through the forum and through personal emails I have faith in the following thoughts. I think you are a foster parent because you are meant to influence the lives of children, if only for a short while. You are the bridge between something of a struggle, and a new day to come for those children. I think you are strong enough to let them go, because you were strong enough to take them in.

Maybe your time and love will then be sort of doubled up for Kyle, and we know that he needs that. I’m happy to hear that the three brothers are being adopted, only because I know it can be difficult to find parents who will adopt siblings, especially three of them. When I say that, I am assuming they will stay together (I think they always keep them together, don’t they)?

I don’t have children, but I think I have had some experiences that sort of relate to your dilemma. When a child, or an adult finishes therapy, it’s time to say good-bye. I recently had to say good-bye to a six- year old little girl, and it broke my heart. There’s that sadness about not knowing what becomes of their life. I told her that we will always remember each other, and that I will always be with her. I will be with her as she lives, and incorporates into her life, the things that she learned during our sessions. And actually, I expect her to forget me, my name, what I look like, the name of the agency and all that. I just want her to remember what I taught her. I am grateful just to have positively influenced her, if only for just a moment.

I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Peace and love,
    Rovivrus2
What do you know that you don't know? I know that I don't know what my views will necessarily be in the future.

      To Whom Does YAH Listen?

      Hi LoveforYAH,

I am happy that you are well, and I am happy to speak with you again through the forum. I understand that the conflict that has arisen in your mind is based upon your desire to keep the three brothers in your family. You truly want to do what is best for the boys so hence your concern that you do not do anything which may go against the will of YAH in their regard!

I wish that all foster parents had your attitude! Indeed, I wish that each state in both the US and Canada would commit their resources to developing the best foster care programs available instead of other programs. This could be easily done if the states would commit the resources.

Do you believe that YAH has a will for each of us? If so, then we are not as free as we imagine, are we? It does appear that we can make choices, does it not, but do our choices affect the ultimate outcome of our lives?

Your belief in prayer and my belief in prayer presupposes the belief that we can change the will of YAH! Is this really possible?

      Consider this scripture:
      Prov 28:9
9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. (KJV)
      Or this scripture:
      Isa 1:15-17
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
      16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. (KJV)
Obviously, the wicked cannot change the fate of anything or anyone. They cannot change the will of YAH.

Why is it that YAH should listen to you and me?

      Sincerely, Spying

        Hello Rovivrus 2

Thank you for answering my post and thank for you for saying a prayer for us. It is a privillage for us to be foster family and it was only because of our Heavenly Father.

i don't know if i am strong enough but i know HE is and wherever the children go i know HE will always be with them.

i would love to keep Kyle with us and the reason why i did post my post is because when we started fostering we never thought of adoption. We knew when we took Kyle back the 2nd time that he will never go back home and when the 3 boys came no one knew that they would one day soon be available for adoption. if we keep the boys, Kyle will suffer, if we keep Kyle, the boys will suffer. i know we are not able to safe any of them but i am praying that we will know 100% that we are doing Yah's will.

You are so right Rovivrus 2 that we are just so grateful when we know that we are making an impact/change in someone's life. i will always keep that in mind that one word, one touch could make one see hope, light, encouragement.

Once again thank you for keeping me in your prayers. You and your family are in my prayers as well. i thank Yah for allowing me to meet your family and to be a part of your life.

        in HIM

Re: To Whom Does YAH Listen?

          Shalom Spying

It is a pleasure to speak with you. Long time no see

Spying, you said "I understand that the conflict that has arisen in your mind is based upon your desire to keep the three brothers in your family. You truly want to do what is best for the boys so hence your concern that you do not do anything which may go against the will of YAH in their regard!" You could not have said it better. The last thing i would ever want to do is go again Yah's will and to hurst someone.

Yes, i agreet to and i also wish that all foster parents were looking for the best interest of the children not themselves or the agency.

"Do you believe that YAH has a will for each of us?" Yes, i do "If so, then we are not as free as we imagine, are we? It does appear that we can make choices, does it not, but do our choices affect the ultimate outcome of our lives? i do beleive that our choices can affect the ultimate outcome of our lives, i don't believe in predestination and i do believe that Yah will do everything, and use eveyone in order to have HIS will done. It was Your choice and mine to respond to HIM and come to HIM and follow HIM today. Tomorrow will be a new day that Yah will give us by HIS mercy.

"Your belief in prayer and my belief in prayer presupposes the belief that we can change the will of YAH! Is this really possible? " i believe it is, Yah does say "come, let us reason together". Yahshua also made a statement that if we who are evil give good things to our children how much more our Heavenly Father will. So, i believe that if it is for the glory of Yah we can.

Spying says "Consider this scripture:Or this scripture:Obviously, the wicked cannot change the fate of anything or anyone. They cannot change the will of YAH.

Why is it that YAH should listen to you and me?" Because HE always invites us to talk with HIM, HE is our Father so HE only wants what is the best for us. No 2nd best, but the BEST. Yahshua is also in us and Yahshua said that His words made us clean and if we abide in Him, He will abide in us. So, just like you said in the openning of your post, i want the best for the children and i know that Yah does as well. Let us pray that my husband and i will hear HIM and respond so that there will be no blood on our hands.

            Predestination!

            Hi LoveforYAH,

Thank you for your reply, and I am delighted to be able to reason with you on the issue of choice!

When I look upon the whole world, the vast sea of humanity, I see Messiah Yahushua, or rather should I say, I see the body of Messiah! Messiah is the head of this body, that is, Messiah does rule over all of us in the same manner that we all each rule over our own physical bodies. Thus, the body of Messiah is composed of the living and the dead. In support of this statement, I offer this scripture:
            Rom 14:7-9
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto ADONAI; and whether we die, we die unto ADONAI: whether we live therefore, or die, we are ADONAI'S.
9 For to this end Messiah both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be YAH both of the dead and living. (KJV)
So, all the physically dead are under the authority of Messiah. Those of us who are physically alive in this world are also a part of HIS body. Thus, both the living and the dead are under the authority of Messiah. Do you agreed with this view?

Now, you and I are presently of the living, are we not? This category, which is composed of all those who are physically alive, can be scripturally divided into two categories, slave and free:
            John 8:34-36
34 Yahushua answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (KJV)
Now, slaves have no choice. They must do as their master directs. It is only the free who have a choice in anything.

I know that you can relate to this concept because you were raised in a communist country where the state made many of your decisions for you. Now, you live in a country where you are free to make many more personal decisions about your life.

Life in the Body of Messiah is very similar. One can be physically alive in Messiah and be a slave or one can be physically alive in Messiah and be free.

These two categories of slave or free can be viewed also in this manner:
            • The Slaves are those who are spiritually dead!
            • The Free are those who are spiritually alive or quickened!
The essential difference between the Slaves and the Free is the SPIRIT of ELOHIM. The Free have been given the gift of the Spirit (the sperm of ELOHIM), and the Slaves have not been given this gift! Those that have been given the gift of the Spirit are called the ELECT. The ELECT, through the gift of the spirit (sperm), have the DNA of YAHWEH imprinted on their very character.

You have said that you do not believe in predestination. If predestination is not a valid concept, then why are the ELECT called the ELECT?

I know that I have placed you in a difficult position, but don't be afraid to wrestle this out with me.

              Re: Predestination!

Shabbat Shalom to you Spying and all your family

First i need to appologize for not writing earlier but you can only imagine how busy i am now when my leave of absence ended and i am again a full time working mom. I thank Yahweh for Shabbat that we can stay away from the daily chores and rest and get closer to HIM.

Spying, i believe that we are all Yahweh's for HE is our Creator and he created each one of us for we cannot create ourselves nor anyone else. So, yes i agree that we are all in Yahshua as we are all his body. Yes, you and i are presently of the living for by HIS grace we are still breathing.
Yes, we have a choice for Yahshua has set us free.

Spying you say "The Free are those who are spiritually alive or quickened! " You would not belive how much i like that statement for it is written in the Bible that Spirit gives life. Yahshua promissed us life, life abbonded if we CHOOSE HIM. It is our CHOICE whether we will follow HIM or not. Yahweh's will is that all be saved but yet not all of the universe follows HIM. Not until 6 years ago and i did not follow HIM either yet, i heard of HIM and i knew of HIM. It was a personal experience, it was the quickening of Spirit that showed me who Yah is . So, i do believe that there are people in the body of Messiah that are still dead just like you mentioned above. Even today you and i have a choice of either following HIM or not.

You say "You have said that you do not believe in predestination. If predestination is not a valid concept, then why are the ELECT called the ELECT?" Again i will say that it is HIM who chose us in the first place but it is us who respond to the call and what are we going to do with the calling. Matthew 22;14 "For many are called, but few are chosen"

Spying says "I know that I have placed you in a difficult position, but don't be afraid to wrestle this out with me. " Spying, it is always a pleasure to speak with you and by talking things out we grow , don't we

                Blessed To Bless!

                Hi LoveforYAH,

We sure do! Peace to you and yours! ELOHIM determined to recreate HIMSELF through Messiah Yahushua. Some of us were chosen long ago to be special within the Body of Messiah. This Body is the whole world, and the special people are the ELECT. The ELECT rule the Body. So, you and I and all our other brothers and sisters will rule the whole world. It is merely a matter of time. This rule is a service. It is the salvation of the Body. It is the salvation of the whole world:
                Eph 1:3-4
3 Blessed be the ELOHIM and Father of our ADONAI Yahushua Messiah, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Messiah:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (KJV)
We are blessed in order to bless. If we were blessed to be chosen before the foundation of the world, what choice did we have in our choosing?

                YAHWEH ELOHIM is the FATHER!

YAHWEH ELOHIM determined long ago to recreate HIMSELF.

YAHWEH ELOHIM divided HIS SPIRIT, which is ONE, amongst all mankind. (This is a sowing of seed or sperm.)

So each of us (all of mankind) share equally in YAHWEH ELOHIM!

Thus, we were initially all given a speck of some of HIS SPIRIT!

One of us was chosen to gather all of this divided SPIRIT again into one BODY!

This chosen one is MESSIAH YAHUSHUA!

MESSIAH is the chosen one because Messiah is a given a speck of all of HIS SPIRIT!

Through Messiah (DBR), the regathered SPIRIT is the express image of the FATHER!

So, each of the ELECT, the Chosen Ones, are a part of the regathered or reconstituted FATHER, and all of the ELECT become the FATHER through the SON!

So, how do we know when our LOVEFORYAH began?

                Your brother, Spying

                  Shalom Spying

my apologies for not writing earlier but i was really, really busy.

Well, i still ask you humbly to pray for all of us, Kyle is now gone as of March 14/03 to a group home. My heart aches, but i have to leave this matter with our Heavenly Father for HE is the ONE who knows the best. We will stay in Kyle's life until he will tell us not come any more.

Going back to your last reply.... Spying, i do agree with you that HE is, was and always will be the ONE who chooses us, it is HIS desire for us to come to HIM for He loved the world that HE gave HIS only Son so that we could live.... now i believe it is our choice whether we will respond to HIS call. it is like with our children... we chose them, or should i say we chose to have children and our choice is that they will follow us, when they are little and eventually they will follow our Heavenly Fahter through HIS Son Yahshua. The choice however is theirs, we can't make our children love Yahweh, we can only, by Yah's mercy, show them Yahweh. i'm learning and i know that i will continue to learn and i pray that HE will always teach me.

If i recall correctly, in one post Rovivrus2 mentioned that she was always thought from early days that we are tested by our Heavenly Father and then she goes on to say that if we are tested than we do have a choice to make a decision. I don't know if we are truly tested or not, i know that Yah allows some things to happen and it is than up to us to ask HIM what to do with it. For all credit must go to HIM and HIM only, for HE is the Creator and we are HIS creation, HalleluYah

You are asking when did our LoveforYah truly began.... well, my understanding of this is that when we have finally come to the point when we realize what Yah has done for us, how much He has truly suffered for us that is when we truly love HIM and share HIS love with others.

                  be blessed
                  your sister in Messiah
