EliYAH, The Messiah, And That Prophet!

Hi Everyone,

Every Passover the Jews set an honored place and plate for the Prophet EliYAH. While performing the Seder, they pause in order that EliYAH might walk through the door and take his seat.

The Jews have been looking for the coming of EliYAH for well over two thousand years. They expect him to come and answer for them all the difficult questions of the Law. Thus, they seem to believe that EliYAH and that Prophet will be one and the same. The coming of that Prophet is proclaimed in the Law:

Deut 18:15-19
15 YAHWEH thy ELOHIM will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
16 According to all that thou desiredst of YAHWEH thy ELOHIM in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of YAHWEH my ELOHIM, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
17 And YAHWEH said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (KJV)

The coming of EliYAH the prophet is predicted in Malachi

Mal 4:5-7
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAHWEH:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
7 THE END OF THE PROPHETS. (KJV)

Regardless of whether EliYAH and That Prophet are actually one and the same, it is very obvious that both will be heard, and if they are not heeded, the consequences will be extremely dire for those who do not listen to them.

The New Testament Scriptures tell us exactly who the Prophet of Deuteronomy 18 is:

Acts 3:19-26
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of YAHWEH;
20 And he shall send Yahushua Messiah, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things (Matthew 17:11) , which ELOHIM hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall YAHWEH your ELOHIM raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which ELOHIM made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first ELOHIM, having raised up his Son Yahushua, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. (KJV)

So, Messiah Yahushua is That Prophet as least according to the Apostolic Assembly.

The Jews were actually looking for the coming of three very important people:

John 1:19-25
19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Messiah.
21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of YAHWEH, as said the prophet Esaias.
24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. (Do you see this, Beseder, priests and levites who were Pharisees)
25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Messiah, nor Elias, neither that prophet? (KJV)

Now, what are the Pharisees really saying and asking here? They did not like the fact that John was engaged in baptizing, did they? Why? Baptism was a Temple ritual. Baptism was a part of the process of purification from sin and death. Baptism was fundamental to Judaism. Baptism was a part of the conversion process. Baptism occurred after the cleansing from leprosy, after childbirth, after menstruation, etc. Thus, baptism is required by the Law. Here is just one instance commanded in the Law; howbeit, the most important instance:

Num 19:19-20
19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of YAHWEH: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean. (KJV)

So, John was encroaching upon the religious duty of those in Jerusalem who were in authority, and the religious authorities did not like it.

How do we know that purification was the specific issue? We know because the Apostle John tells us so:

John 3:22-26
22 After these things came Yahushua and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
24 For John was not yet cast into prison.
25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. (KJV)

The implication is clear. If John were EliYAH, or Messiah, or That Prophet, then John would indeed have authority to break with traditional baptism policy. Nonetheless, the Jews allowed John to break with policy and look what then happens. Now, there is another character going around breaking policy and baptizing the people.

All believers truly know and recognize that Yahushua was the Messiah. All believers should know that Yahushua was also That Prophet, but who in all the world is this EliYAH? If Yahushua is two of the three, what are the chances that Yahushua would not also be EliYAH? None whatsoever! Who is it that did turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers? Yes, who indeed?!!!

EliYAH, The Messiah, And That Prophet!

Satan is a Father:

John 8:42-44
42 Yahushua said unto them, If ELOHIM were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from ELOHIM; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie (In the Greek, it is THE LIE), he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV)

And so also is ELOHIM a Father, but ELOHIM is the Father of the truth. So, we see here that two fathers do exist. These fathers again are ELOHIM and Satan. Those who do the will of Satan are the children of Satan. Those who do the will of ELOHIM are the children of ELOHIM. The Children of Satan promote and believe THE LIE. What is THE LIE? This is THE LIE:

Gen 3:4
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (KJV)

So, the children of Satan believe that they can disobey ELOHIM and live. My Father has said:

Exod 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of YAHWEH thy ELOHIM: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days YAHWEH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YAHWEH blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. (KJV)

How can the children of ELOHIM disobey this commandment and live? They cannot! When they break this commandment or cause their children to break this commandment, they prove themselves to be the children of Satan because they can only continue to break this commandment through believing THE LIE:

II Th 2:11-12
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (In the Greek it is "THE LIE".)
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (Not remembering the Sabbath Day to keep it holy is unrighteousness!) (KJV)

Sunday keeping Christians have for generations believed THE LIE. They do not think that the DAY which YAHWEH ELOHIM has blessed matters at all. Well, it does matter. Many of these Sunday keeping Christians have over the years established or supported ministries devoted to helping children. They vainly imagine that they are doing EliYAH's work when they teach their children that they need not keep the Sabbath Day holy. They are snakes in the grass!

Some Sabbath Keepers are also filled with this vanity of thinking that they are EliYAH through establishing ministries devoted to helping children. The best way to help our children is to live a life pleasing to Father ELOHIM. If we have done wrong, then we need to repent and change our ways. If our children see us repent, why should they themselves continue to believe THE LIE?

My MESSIAH YAHUSHUA IS ELIYAH!!! Messiah did come to turn our hearts. Consider this prayer of Messiah:

John 17:20-26
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (KJV)

ELIYAH has come and turned our hearts. Now, Yahushua is coming to restore all things. Our FATHER is all and in all!

...Only if YHWH can forgive a transgression of the law, can a commandment cease to be a curse to the lawbreaker. But YHWH doesn't forgive {non transgressions}. Why would he need too? So forgiveness always belongs to transgressions of the law or to violating YHWH's will in someway. Apart from this, can any remission of sin exist?

Hi Thummim,

Your attitude about sin and the Law and forgiveness is very Christian, my friend. Christians do not really believe that YAHWEH would ever subdue all their iniquities. That is an impossibility in their thinking, and it is reflected in their lives.

You have converted to Judaism so Jews must also believe that it is impossible to remove sin completely from someone's life.

Christians do not take the Law seriously, and neither do the Jews. Birds of the same feather flock together! And I hope this judgment does not come back around upon my head, but you have never really believed YAHWEH ELOHIM who has told you through Moses that the Law is both a blessing and a curse. This is not difficult reasoning, Thummim: When we keep the Law, we are blessed! We will live! When we transgress the Law, we are cursed! We will die! So, in order to live, we must learn how to keep the Law. I know, it is far easier to believe that YAHWEH has removed the Law rather than the sin.

You believe like the Christians that one does not have to learn how to keep the Law. Your faith is based solely upon the forgiveness of YAHWEH rather than upon the remission of sin in your life. Sin like any other disease must go into remission in our lives in order for us to be blessed with life. We reap what we sow!

19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: (In a spiritual sense, not walking according to the Law is thirst. Drunkenness in a spiritual sense is the belief that one will have peace eventhough one is walking in disobedience. Drunkenness is living according to belief in THE LIE.)
20 YAHWEH will not spare him, but then the anger of YAHWEH and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and YAHWEH shall blot out his name from under heaven.
21 And YAHWEH shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: (KJV)

Perhaps I am wrong, but it does seem to me that you have placed a hedge against the above words by placing your hope upon the forgiveness of YAHWEH ELOHIM. YAHWEH says that HE will not spare the individual walking in disobedience who is secure in his disobedience. You say, quoting the prophets to me, that YAHWEH will spare the sinner by blotting out the sinner's sin from YAHWEH'S memory rather than the name of the sinner himself.

You believe that YAHWEH does all this for HIS own sake! Perhaps, the Ancient of Days is getting old. Perhaps, HIS memory is fading, and perhaps, YAHWEH cannot recall the names of all those who did not serve HIM with joyfulness and gladness of heart for the abundance of all things. So, for HIS own sake, YAHWEH just forgives all the Jews from the time of Cyrus to the present.

This is a very convenient teaching that you possess, Thummim. I see now why you should think that I should bless myself for eating pie! All I have to do is convert to Judaism, and I am now free to eat whatever I desire regardless of the prison of my word! It is my desire to become my word. There is no peace for anyone who does not fulfill his word except it be according to the Word. This includes the Ancient of Days.

So, Thummim, could you please explain to me how exactly YAHWEH is going to blot out your sin and remember your name despite HIS word to the contrary?:

Your absolute approach which says, "breaking the rules must mean that there is no escape from the curse", takes away from YHWH, his ability to forgive the trespasses of a transgressor. Since showing you that a people who break the rules, still can slip past a curse won't persuade you {Nu. 23: 8 --> how can I curse whom YHWH has not cursed?}, Watch YHWH change his mind and be persuaded by Moses.

19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

20 And YHWH said, I have pardoned according to thy word: Nu. 14: 11 - 20

...The curse that was in effect, has been breached! YHWH decided to replace all his people with another people, with Moses at the head. The key to the curse has been used. Now it is Moses and Aaron's turn to inherit a curse.

12 And YHWH spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. Nu. 20: 12

...It would appear that even Aaron and Moses are in breach of YHWH's will. Do you believe that they are cursed? The author of the story of Balak and Balaam, wrote it to show his readers that his people were not cursed. There is no other reason for the telling of this story. Many other of the tanakh's authors have santified this people with their words. These words are usually found at the end of their contributions to the collected writings of the tanakh.

...Spying, you will not even conceed the land of Israel to these people. You cede them a curse, but not a breach that they can afford. {"Jesus" is no key of liberty for the JEWish people!} Our argument is always, "curse me this people!" But you already know that I won't do so. My duty is to keep the door open and not block the path of this people, and so refuse to let them pass by. I'm very sorry that you got stuck in the "Balak role", in our little argument. I know that you would like to argue from the side of "forgiveness" once in a while. But I always have to play with the same pieces in this game. I concede that there is a prison for this law. But it is full of openings to escape through, by those who know where they are. Another breach that we could approach can use is, "can YHWH change his mind?" It would seem that he has, many times. Can he even decide to replace this covenant that says, "visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children", with one that says, "but everyone shall die for his own iniquity"?

The Assurance Of Forgiveness?

I absolutely know and agree that YAHWEH ELOHIM can change HIS mind. I absolutely know and agreed that YAHWEH ELOHIM will grant requests through prayer. Anyone who prays believes that YAHWEH has the capacity to change HIS mind. I absolutely know and agreed that YAHWEH ELOHIM has the authority to forgive sins and so do you and I.

Why do you object to anyone holding YAHWEH ELOHIM to HIS word as YAHWEH does exercise HIS option to forgive? You, by your belief, allow YAHWEH to break HIS word in order practice forgiveness. What good are the words, "I forgive you", if the one who forgives does not keep HIS own word? What if HE changes HIS mind about your forgiveness? No, we all desire absolute assurance that the one who forgives will not change his mind. So, Thummim, you must work it all out another way. Broad is your road, and both Christians and Jews think about YAHWEH as you do!

Here is what you believe. YAHWEH exercised HIS option to forgive the Jews at the end of the Babylonian Captivity. The Jews were forgiven, and the Jews were again brought into their own Land. Then, the Greeks conquered the Land. Then, the Jews subdued the Greeks until the time that they sought the help of the Romans. Then, the Romans ruled over the Land. The Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem. They dispersed the Jews again. Then, the Moslems conquered the Land. Then, the Christians. Then, the Turks. Napoleon tried to conquer the Land, but failed. Then, the British became rulers over the Land. Now, the British and Americans have seen to it that a portion of the Land be given again to the Jews. Now, the Jews have demonstrated that they do not want to share the Land with the Palestinians. Have I left anything important out of the History? How do you know that YAHWEH will not change HIS mind again about who possesses the Land?

During all this time in which the Jews were forgiven, they were being persecuted all over the world. Now, tell my why any Jew should trust in the forgiveness of YAHWEH? It sure seems that YAHWEH in the past has changed HIS mind a whole lot about who should possess the Land all the while that they were forgiven! What prevents YAHWEH from changing HIS mind again?

...Spying, I do have a reason why JEWs are persecuted, though forgiven. When one is to be delivered by Hashem, and there is no Hashem to deliver in the memory of its people, than one goes into the battle without his weapon. The outcome follows.

...Redemption awaits the arrival of (*The Name*). Then this people will be armed to the proverbial hilt. Until then, the people perish for lack of knowledge. Their faith is not like the many faiths of the world which includes christianity, where a god is worshipped as an object. {like an idol} This Eloheem is worshipped through his name. The people are not "cast off". They are just naked. Hashem comes with thick dark clouds surrounding YHWH like a cloud of praises. His name is invoked for strength. The people are righteous, as decreed by their Eloheem. When the name on the kethubah is forgotten, the marriage is in jeopardy. YHWH puts his Name in one of the twelve tribes of Israel. This Name is the authority of Davids throne. What do you think happens to Davids throne without this Name and the knowledge that goes with it?

...Now tell me which peoples can escape the oppression of this world? Do you believe that "Jesus" has ended the oppression of the christians? Obviously "Jesus" is angry with his followers. They must all be sinners still, or would they yet be oppressed?

...Next you will be trying to tell me that these oppressed christians are forgiven of all their sins.

...Pooh on you, if you think that I will believe that. How can an oppressed people be forgiven of all of their trespasses?

...Salvation comes through strength. (*period*)! Whether that strength comes from the Roman legions, the American armies, or YHWH himself. Salvation comes to those who are armed for the battles that they must face. Foolishness is going into the battle without a weapon to fight with. "YaHudaH, the JEWish people" await the glory of their Eloheems Name to cover them. With this arising of the glory of their Eloheems Name, the knees of their enemies will tremble. The Name of YHWH can be worn as a garment of "praise" by the JEWish people. Then this world will know what is different about the faith of the JEWish people. They do bear the Name of their Eloheem, after all.

In HIS NAME

2CHRON 7:14 If MY PEOPLE, which are called by MY NAME, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

If ONE is called by HIS NAME, ONE does not, intentionally, go on and sin (move against YH'WH's WORD/LAW).

When ONE seeks HIS FACE, ONE must BE as HE is. HIS WORD. WE must seek to appear as HIS PEOPLE. "Seek HIS FACE"

Then HE will FORGIVE US.

Once HIS PEOPLE submit to HIS WORD/LAW and HIS SPIRIT,
WE will put back in the, only, land PROMISED to US.

...Ricoel, I hope that your not implying that the JEWish people intentionally transgress YHWH's commandments more than any other people. The portion of faithfull adherants, percentage wise to the ways of YHWH, have to far exceed that of any other group of religious people. Then the JEWish people are back in their land in larger numbers than at anytime in the past, which would also include the time of Solomon. That would in itself, imply that all YaHudeem are now considered a righteous people by their Eloheem. {the righteousness that is to cover *all* Israel's people in the way that the priests served Israel in their time} That the JEWish people are in their land, must imply their righteousness by a reading of II Chr. 7: 14. War does not take away any righteousness from YHWH's people, in the same way that it didn't do so in the time of Moses or Joshua. {how can I curse whom YHWH has not cursed, Nu. 23: 8} YHWH said that he forgave his people their trespasses. {Isa. 44: 22} and at this time, Haggai said that this people would be blessed from his time forward. {Hag. 2: 18, 19} Isaiah said, when the desolate lands were repossessed, that this people would never again incur the wrath of YHWH. {Isa. 54: 7 - 10} The timing of this righteousness, is locked in. So why do bad things happen to good people?

How do you reconcile these two statements, my friend:

Naked is not a problem with YHWH. He likes his children naked.

The people are not "cast off". They are just naked. Hashem comes with thick dark clouds surrounding YHWH like a cloud of praises.

If the nakedness of the Jewish people is not a problem with YAHWEH (Indeed, YAHWEH does has a big problem with nakedness), then why should HaShem come to surround anyone with praise?

Right here on this thread, Thummim, you have just accused your own people of being naked, of lacking knowledge, and of extreme forgetfulness. You accuse them of having forgotten the NAME of their ELOHIM!

I know that these issues are a problem for lost tribes of Israel. Indeed, those of us who are their descendants are just now discovering our righteousness in Messiah Yahushua. Having been clothed, we are just now beginning to arrange our garments to cover our nakedness, but we are also poor and blind in our Land, in Messiah Yahushua!

It seems that we are finally in agreement in almost everything save for the NAME: YAHUSHUA, who is surrounded by Praisers of YAH!!
