Gamaliel grandson of Hillel believed in YHoshWH. he told his followers of the school of hillel to not fight against the netsarim.
the one called moshiach by the lubavitch(chassidim) that KNOW that moshiach is supposed to die and rise in 3 days(they now find excuses to why he didnt rise in 3 days bodily) is Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson- another believer in Moshiach YHoshWH, he did miracles and lived a G-dly life, and studied torah from no mans doctrine but studied on his own , G-d's spirit was with him, and he spent much time in prayer and communion with hashem.
until he died, no one claimed that he was moshiach.
Flavius Josephus
well, most of us here should know about his writtings. Some of us might think either that it was a christian interpolation - added to his writtings and not the original saying about YHoshWH
In Rome, in the year 93, Josephus published his lengthy history of the Jews. While discussing the period in which the Jews of Judaea were governed by the Roman procurator Pontius Pilate, Josephus included the following account:
About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he was one who performed surprising deeds and was a teacher of such people as accept the truth gladly. He won over many Jews and many of the Greeks. He was the Messiah. And when, upon the accusation of the principal men among us, Pilate had condemned him to a cross, those who had first come to love him did not cease. He appeared to them spending a third day restored to life, for the prophets of God had foretold these things and a thousand other marvels about him. And the tribe of the Christians, so called after him, has still to this day not disappeared.

why have these 3 jews out of the many that believe hide their belief? it is because they knew that the people did not and would not recieve the belief.
Josephus is an ecception, however, he did not openly claim it, he had only written it- i guess knowing that he ould not recieve 'persecution' while alive.
These rabbis would have been called crazy by the people- indeed the rabbis themselves would have been recieved but no one would listen to their wisdom anymore- which would make it hard for them to help any person they loved. i feel and understand the reason of these people, these leaders.
and as there were these 3 jews , there are many leaders today amoungst the jews that do not heed to the interpretation from a rabbi, However, heed to the interpretation that was revealed to them not even from a kadoshi moshiach, NO, they revieved it from Hashem himself.
not even the kehillot in Israel openly express their belief- none but a very very very few. ONE from what i KNOW. and he shares with people over there, however, not like these "mesianics" over here, raiding into synagogues, putting up flyers in synagogues and making noise and disturbing while the un-believing jews are worshipping.
May we pray for them to take stregnth as they prepare for the day they will tell our people. The day that us Jews will recieve.
shalom shalom all.
