Hi Elect Lady,

I hope that my welcome post to you in not also a farewell post. Surely you must realize that others do follow our debates and arguments in much the same manner that the crowds followed the jousting between Messiah and the religious authorities of his day. Is it not written:

Prov 16:1
1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from (the) YAHWEH. (KJV)

Is it only to you that YAH gives this gift of answering? If not, then why after a few posts do you classify the answers of another as demonic? Are all YAH'S children the same age? If not, then give all a chance to grow and increase to the mature stature of YAH.

I think that you will recognize, if you don't already recognize, that I myself am actually very sympathetic to what you have written thus far. I like what I am hearing. That does not mean that I like a child will accept everything that you say just because you say it in plain English. You will be tested and questioned. We will see whether or not you can stay the course and have patience with your younger brothers and sisters if nothing else? There is nothing wrong with holding your peace, but do not withhold your presence or your love from all your siblings.

I am expecting great things from you. Welcome to this forum and the fellowship of arguing for the truth.

it was a ''message'' of goodbye...to agruements.. with others.
i do not partake of them... they are demonic..and create enemies.
i have been shown many things by Almighty God thanks only to His grace, and to be ''involved'' with agruements is one of them , for once i too was a fierce agru-er. untill i was shown the WAY of Jesus Christ was NOT a way of fierce debates and chatterings and vyings and tit-for-tats...i got cleaned up....grace did it.

What To Do?

Hi Elect Lady,

While I have never been privileged to attend an orthodox synagogue, I have nonetheless patterned this forum after the freedom to speak and discuss therein that can be seen in the New Testament. So, you are quite free here to just make statements concerning what you believe, and then you are free to hold your peace by not answering any responses. All that I would ask is that you remain consistent in your practice. If it is not your practice to defend and debate, then don't enter into the threads or discussions of others and work to show them where they are wrong. If you are not consistent in this, then after awhile, none of us will give you even the time of day because we will know that you are a hypocrite.

It takes alot of courage to post our ideas on a public forum for all the world to see. Once you make a post, you cannot take it back. I can remember back the first times that I posted that my hand was actually trembling as I got ready to hit the submit button. Even yet today, I often second guess myself. I do so in preparation for the next post anticipating the response that I may receive.

I can remember the first post that DeAnna made to me in the heat of battle. DeAnna is a stream of consciousness writer. In her replies, one thing leads to another until the finished product leaves this huge post to respond to. I did not know what to say or do, so I went to my wife and asked her help. I read the post to her. My wife knowingly nodded her head and told me to respond to the last point that DeAnna had made. That was all I needed to hear. It was like a big weight had been lifted off my back learning that I did not have to response to everything that a woman relates . DeAnna still has long posts, but believe me, I have seen enormous improvement in her ability to get her point across. DeAnna does not make fierce debates. She is not fierce. She is too sweet a lady to be fierce. I guess you could say that she loves to chat about the scriptures, but then again so do I, and yes, when you are debating, it is basically tit for tat. That is the nature of a debate.

I would like to see the truth that stands, that never needs to be defended. You say that grace cleaned you up. Would you mind explaining how grace did that for you? When you do, shall I just listen? Or do you want me to respond? If I disagree with what you are saying, do you want me to point it out to you?
