Is it our Heavenly Father's will for us to suffer?....

Jesus Christ...suffered...to be made perfect.
patience, being a fruit of the Spirit is made by suffering...
BUT
what type if suffering?for there are 2.
this 1st. type is called ''dying to self''...that Christ may live thru our lives as a demonstration of the Kingdom of Heaven... as example, like Jesus Christ and later the Apostles did..as our example and how to walk.
The dying to self is made by our ''choices'' daily...
they consist of a series of tests = ''whom shall you serve this day Baal or Almighty God''
These tests are compulsary and called ''firey''...and part of the believers walk., and we are told ''not to think it strange'' that this happens to us... it is essential for our maturing progress.
The end result of the tests and sufferings etc, is to actually find out ''WHO IS OUR LORD'' = satan or Jesus Christ, and Almighty God is NOT interested in LIPS nor the words that come forth from them,...saying ''I love u and I serve u''...

He thinks we are all basically liars u see... hence the tests.. TO BE PROVEN WORTHY TO ESCAPE..what? = the dreadfull affects of these 2 laws...sin and death.
The Lordship of Christ sets us free from their harm and destroying powers... Jesus Christ's Gospel is LIBERTY of the Spirit of the Soul and of the Body, this comes at a huge cost to us personally... we have to die to everything that is called ''the adamic nature'' and be translated into the character of God...

as for ''other types of suffering''....no2.
if we are following HARD after King Jesus Christ the word tells us we lack FOR NOTHING AND simply ASK, and then every need shall be supplied....PS 23...is a good psalm.. to remember and meets all requirements....we lack''no good thing'' according to His word...
however there are CONDITIONS to be met... and NOT for the lip server nor faint-hearted... remembering ONLY A FEW find eternal life.. so i ask... what did all the other think they had found.

I agree a lot in what "Lady" showed forth. The only thing I might not agree with is "the price we pay". But maybe more on that later. Basically though I am in agreement. And all I am doing is puttng it in different words in hopes for all of us to increase in understanding. (like many definitions in a dictionary to get the point across; smile)

"His will for us to suffer." Like Lady showed forth, I would think;
"yes and no". For do we not "suffer" in our iniquities?
I know I do. (big smile). And yet; "We are shaped and formed in our iniquities".

You know the old saying; "Adversity/experience is the best teacher". We often must see or experience what is "wrong" in order to see what is "right".

I wrote this on the "head covering" thread, but I'll share it again here. (as I know that thread is very long)
But just the other day, Kim and I were discussing the "process" of receiving "Wisdom".
(not unlike what Lady was showing forth to receive patience)

Solomon "asked" for Wisdom to guide the people by. And Yah granted his request. How? We look at Eccliastes for he answer.
For Solomon had to go from one extreme to the other to obtain wisdom. He says; >>

Ecclesiastes 2:3 I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
(he continues with a list of all "he has done, gotten and worked)

12 And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
3 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

For Yah says that He will "straighten out the crooked paths".
For at first we must go to and fro, from one extreme to the other, from this side to that, BEFORE we may find the "middle" or the balance. For one cannot determine that "middle" or the balance until one is able to know the boundaries.

I think of our walks being like one repeated big "S". back and forth, back and forth... but with each "trip" the top and bottom part of the "S" gets shorter and shorter until it becomes a straight line. But as we all know, "extremities" are painful. It is either really "HOT" or really "COLD". only the "middle" warm is comfortable. Super sweet, or super bitter, but the middle is good.
But until we "taste the bitter" we do not know it is bitter.
Unless we are "Told" and we "believe" it. (smile)

Those that are "told" and do not believe it have to find out the hard way. (smile). But the good thing is they do adventually come to "know" it.

The same is true with our physical muscles. We must put some kind of "tension" against them, and though it "hurts" at the time, the result is much stronger muscles. This is like the strength of our "faith". It gets "excersised" much like our physical muscles.
When our physical muscles are "worked", it is harder to "hurt them". And when they are not "worked", it gets easier and easier to "hurt them".

Is it Yahs will that we suffer? Yes, because as Lady showed, it is part of the perfecting process. Does He enjoy our "suffering", no!
No more then we do when we see our children suffer, but know that it must needs be for a better "out come".

Then there is a "no 2" that Lady spoke of. I see this "#2" as a "recompense". For Yah says to Jacob, ye shall not go utterly unpunished." and no one can "cure his wound".
But better to be purged/chastised by the fire here and now, then later. As people often say about those that have gotten out of prison; "they have done their time".

So good to see you siostra Dorota! I think of you so often.

LADYLUCY your belief in HIS WORD is GOOD.

Thank you to all who responded to my question. Not too many people responded, but not everyone in the home fellowship group responded either .

My respond to that question is, no, it is not the Heavenly Father's will for us to suffer. As some of you know, before i came to know my Heavenly Father Yahweh, and His Son Yahshua, i saw Yah as the El that was trying to get me. As an El who was always angry and never happy. Brought up in a catholic faith in Poland when we arrived in Canada we were exposed to many different churches. Yah put on our path another polish couple who were reading the Word and were different than my husband and i. When the truth was revealed to me one weds. nigh that Yahshua died for me too and that everything that i have done in the past can be washed away by the blood of the Lamb i could only do one thing and that is to say "YES, i will follow HIM". i still strugled for many years till one day again i came to Yah and truly asked HIS forgivness. At this ponint of time i am still seeing Yah as one who is trying to get me and seeing me as one of the worst people on this earth. And when i came Yah extended to me HIS compassion, HIS love, mercy understanding and a judgement that yes, i am a sinner and that i need a saviour. From that day on, the knowledge of my Heavenly Father increases by HIS mercy and by HIS grace.
For my daily full time job i am a caseworker at a welfare office where i see people who are hurt one time after another. Most of them blame it on Yah.... so where the question was asked two weeks ago re: Yah's will for suffer my heart just could not stop but to say NO. After all, the most favorit scripture from the Bible for most believers is John 3; 16 "For El so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Sone, that whoever believes in HIM should NOT PERISH but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. HALLELUYAH !!! That is what my Elohim is all about. HE is about giving life, eternal life, not in suffering but in joy. Yahshua says in Matthew 11;29 "take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS" Again let us say HalleluYah!!! Yahshua also says in Matthew 7; 9-11 "Or what man is there among you who, if his son aks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much mofe will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask HIM". Praise be Yahweh for being such a wonderful Abba to us. What i see in this verse is that we earthly parents want only what is best for them. Granted, our children don't always ask, but even if they misbehave my will is not for them to suffer. My will for them is to come back to my husband and me and seek reconciliation. And i see Yah as that loving Father as well.... HE only wants what is the best for us. HE says in Psalms 37;5 Psalms 37; 4-5 "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh, Trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass", He shall bring it to pass..... wow, what a promise. . Through the prophet Jeremiah, Yahweh tells us that "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahwe, thoughts of PEACE and not evil, to give a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29,11-13.) So, Yahweh's thought for us are of peace. Yahshua says "come all who are havey burden and I will give you rest". HalleluYah
It seemes that i could go on and on and on . Today world sees Yah as a cruel God. Many people have potrate HIM like that and that is the reason why people see HIM this way. The enemy of Yahweh, lucifer is behind that. We read in Job 1; 6-12 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Yahweh, and satan also came among them. And Yahweh said to satan, from where do you come? so satan answered to Yahwehand said from going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it. Then Yahweh said to satan Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man one who fears El and shuns evil? so satan answered to Yahweh and said "Does Job fear El for nothing Have not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side You have bless the work of his hands and his possessions have increased in the land. But now stretch your hand and touch all that he has and he will surey curse you to Your face. And Yahweh said to satan "behold, all that he has is in your power only do not lay a hand on his person. so satan went out from the presence of Yahweh". Again i see that it is lucifer's will for us to suffer not Yah's. Yahweh said Job is blameless and upright and satan said "have you not made a hege around him" clearly it is satan trying Yah not Yah trying to tempt us.
Satan is working very hard to make sure that the creation of Yah will not turn to HIM and even blame HIM for suffering that come one way but you and i know that Yahweh has healed us and will heal us and that Yahweh has given us rest. Now it is up to you and me to show the world that Yahweh is waiting for everyone to come and receive peace. Yah, is waiting just like the father is waiting for the lost son (Luke 15;20) "his father saw him and had compassion".... Praise Yah, that HE waited for me and that HE had compassion on me.
My prayer is that all will see Yahweh as their Father waiting for them and that more and more people will come to the Rock of Salvation, HalleluYah
