I Believe

I believe that the LORD’s plan is to get HIS BODY together. (Ezekiel 37:1-12) It started with the first man and woman. I believe that they were created as ONE and then separated into two. (Genesis 1:26-28, 2:21-23) Then, they went and did what they wanted to do; on their own. Both of them sinned. (Genesis 3:6) The LORD in HIS LOVING GRACE killed an innocent animal ( I believe a LAMB), instead of the man and woman, and took it’s skin and covered them. (Genesis 3:21) HE covered their sin with INNOCENT SKIN. I believe that’s why Abel’s gift was respected. (Genesis 4:2-5) Abel was offering to GOD, GOD’s SACRIFICE. As we should.
I believe that GOD, HIMSELF, came to take the place of that SACRIFICED LAMB. GOD, Y’SHUA, came and denying HIMSELF became a human indwelled by HIS HOLY SPIRIT. As we should. Everything HE did was as a human listening and following the HOLY SPIRIT. As we should. I believe that HE, as a human, had to learn who HE WAS. As we do. HE, GOD, put all creation on the line for our SALVATION. HE LOVES US!!! HE did what we are capable of doing. The only difference is that HE is the HEAD of HIS BODY and we are HIS BODY.
GOD, Y’SHUA, is creating HIS BODY!!! Each one of us a “cell” – a “room”.
The end is covered by the “TWO (olive branches/candlesticks) ANNOINTED ONES that stand before the LORD of the Earth”. (Zechariah 4 / Revelation 11) I believe the TWO ANNOINTED ONES are the TWO OLIVE trees, becoming ONE, in Romans 11. The TWO branches that were broken off in Jeremiah 11. The TWO WITNESSES are not two people, but TWO PEOPLES that will become ONE.
HIS BODY!!!
The TWO are explained in Ezekiel 37:15-28. In fact, HIS WORD (The BIBLE) is prophesized in these verses. The word that is translated “stick” in Ezekiel 37 is translated to “tables / tablets” in Habakkuk 2:2. I believe that the “tablet” written for “the HOUSE of JUDAH” is our “Old COVENANT” and the “tablet” written for the “HOUSE of JOSEPH, that is in the hand of EPHRAIM”(House of ISRAEL) is our “New COVENANT”. Joined together into ONE TABLET; ONE in MY HAND!!!

And when I AM asked, “What does all this mean?” I will answer:

The TWO kingdoms (TWO PEOPLES-The TWO WITNESSES) will become ONE,
never to be two again,
under ONE KING!!!

Welcome to this forum! You have sincerity, and you have strength of conviction. I like you already!

Your statement of belief will indeed be tested here. We have some conflicts, and we have some major agreements. The Tzaddikim also do not believe that the two witnesses are two individuals. In the past, we have viewed these witnesses as the first Assembly, the Apostolic Church, which corresponds in a spiritual sense to the Solomon's Temple. This spiritual Temple was destroyed (Matthew 24:2, the physical is a shadow of the spiritual so Messiah was actually speaking here about the spiritual Temple of his Body.). The second witness we believe is the second Assembly which Yahushua is presently gathering and raising up. We are definitely in agreement about the gathering again of this Body. This witness or Body will also eventually be destroyed as was the second physical Temple, but not completely (1 Corinthians 15:51). My own personal views on the two witnesses have been somewhat evolving lately so I am very open on this subject.

We have a major disagreement on why Abel's offering was accepted, but I think that I will leave room for ImAHebrew to explain to you our belief in that area.

In a spiritual sense, physical nakedness is symbolic for sin. It is commanded concerning nakedness:

Lev 18:7
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. (KJV)

Eve is called the Mother of all living. So, if YAHWEH ELOHIM covers the physical nakedness of Adam and Eve, is YAHWEH saying something about HIS relationship to them (Habakkuk 1:13)? See in this regard Genesis 9:23. I suspect that this issue relates also to the two witnesses although I am not sure at this point exactly how? I am sure that we will discover many things together should we be blessed with the opportunity. Again, welcome to this forum!

WE, at ISRAEL, the BRIDE of YESHUA, believe that the TWO WITNESSES are the descendants of Joshua and Caleb. ISRAEL (Jacob) blessed Manasseh and Ephraim saying that the descendants of Ephraim would be scattered into the world. WE believe lost (to themselves). The TWO WITNESSES were JUDAH and EPHRAIM under MOSES. The TWO WITNESSES were JUDAH and EPHRAIM when they existed as 2 countries. They are the branches broken off the OLIVE TREE in Jeremiah 11:16-17. WE believe they are the branches that are being joined into ONE in Romans 11:11-32. WE believe they are "the TWO OLIVE BRANCHES that stand before the LORD of the earth" Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11. All ONE has to do is to give in to the LORD's WAYs. Read "literally" and Find "TRUTH".

GRACE – The Story

The man and the woman had gone their own way and done what they had been told not to. In all HIS HOLINESS, GOD had to stay to HIS WORD. They now knew sin-------to make a decision, on their own, without GOD and HIS WORD. Everything HE had given them LIFE, BREATH, BODY, EXISTENCE, and BEING they had used for themselves. It wasn’t what they had done, it was that they had decided to act on their own.
Imagine it this way. You create some clay beings. You give them a part of you that gives them life. You give them a part of you that makes them think. You give them a part of you that makes them feel. You give them everything that you believe is needed to exist. You even give them the idea of self-awareness. You let them know that they are real.
As their thoughts progress, while they are still living off of you, they make a decision on their own. Their self-awareness has taken them to a level where they choose to exist without you. What do you do? Destroy them and try again or quit.
That is the decision GOD had to make and stay HOLY and JUST. If HE had destroyed them, HE would have maintained HIS HOLINESS. HE didn’t. HE went and killed an INNOCENT ANIMAL (I believe a LAMB) and put IT’s skin on them. They were guilty, but were covered by the innocence of the INNOCENT SKIN.
It was the decision of the man and woman to sin; the consequence being death. It was the decision of GOD to kill an INNOCENT ANIMAL to save the man and woman. I believe my LORD cried when HE killed that LAMB. In it’s INNOCENCE, it died not knowing why.
In HIS GRACE our LORD killed
an INNOCENT creature from HIS CREATION
to SAVE US!!!
That is the main reason (I believe) that GOD honored Abel’s gift over Cain’s. Cain had gathered what Cain had done for GOD. Abel had gathered what GOD had done for US!
Then, GOD came, as a MAN, to claim the life and to take the place of that INNOCENT animal. By killing it, because of our sin, death was introduced into CREATION. Then, by our LORD choosing to die and taking the place of that INNOCENT creature (the LAMB), HE conquered death and SAVED HIS CREATION---US!!!

Thank you for your response. Concerning possession of the Promised Land, which is a symbol for dwelling with Messiah himself, there were 12 witnesses under Moses. 10 of the witnesses, the evil congregation, bore false witness concerning the possession of the Land, and two of the witnesses, Joshua and Caleb, bore true testimony concerning that very possession. There is some reason to believe that Caleb was a gentile proselyte. His adoptive tribe was Judah so Caleb was a witness for Judah. This is in accord with the prophecy concerning the provoking of Israel (Deuteronomy 32:21). Caleb is one of my heroes, and I make a conscious effort to pattern myself after what I perceive to be his personality. Caleb's name is closely related to the Hebrew word for dog. It means to yelp or attack. These things in teaching the Gospel I have learned to do quite well. However, since a dog is also man's best friend I strive to do those things in as friendly a fashion as possible. Celeb euphemistically is a male prostitute in scripture so the descendants of Caleb would now have a lot to overcome especially when we also consider the vomit thing.

I am not opposed to your view that the witnesses today are descendants of Ephraim and Judah. Because I am a Gentile, I have long felt myself to be a physical descendant of Joseph. Now, because all Gentile believers are actually adopted into the tribe of Judah through Messiah, I see through your insight where I may actually be a physical descendant of Caleb. I like that. I think that is a neat concept. Thank you for that insight. Have a good Sabbath Day.

1. I hold on to HIS NAME. I don't use it in vain by just calling it out, like it is magic. I hold on to HIS NAME by, not "human being", but by "Y'SHUA BEING" in this world, in HIS NAME. I pray in HIS NAME. I teach in HIS NAME. I AM in HIS NAME. HIS BODY is HIS PRESENCE, called by HIS NAME, in this world.

2. I hold on to HIS WORD (HIS LAW). It is written in my heart and, with HIS HOLY SPIRIT, I will put it in my mind. I will believe the WORD of my GOD. That is holding on to HIS LAW (HIS WORD). Everything our LORD says is LAW!!!

John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

That is what holding on to the hem of HIS tallit means to me.
