  • Gentile Converts had FOUR Necessary OT Commands that they HAD to KEEP!

Shalom All, there are those who know nothing that try to teach that the Gentile Converts were not required to keep ANY of the commands of the OT Law. Well, what about those FOUR necessary OT commands from the Law of Moses that the Council of Acts 15 required the Gentile Converts to keep? Do these deceivers really believe that these FOUR necessary commands from the Law of Moses could be broken by the Gentile Converts?

And also those who are deceived who think that Peter was given permission to eat common and unclean things (like swine's flesh or dog meat), should really throw out everything they believe, and realize that Peter continued to NOT eat anything that was common or unclean his entire life. Blessings in The Name, ImAHebrew/Ken.
Col 2:16 & 17 Teaches us that no "man" is to determine what we eat or drink, or how the Sabbath, Holy Days, and New Moon should be observed, instead, The Body of Messiah IS to determine those things, just like what happened in Acts 15.

Now, The Body of Messiah determined that since Moses is READ every Sabbath in the Synagogues (Acts 15:21), the Gentiles would be able to HEAR (Luke 16:31, John 5:46-47), and then do those things to farewell (Acts 15:29). Those FOUR necessary commands that The Body of Messiah determined for the Gentiles, were FROM the Law of Moses.
Abstain from meats offered to idols
(Exo 34:15), abstain from blood (Lev 17:14), abstain from things strangled (Deu 12:23), and abstain from fornication (Lev 19:29).
So do not let anyone deceive you into believing falsely about the Law of Moses.

it is good to TIDY UP what this little Judaizer IAH writes....

as his slant is always '''''off''''' his '''''snippets'' always with ''kinky'' twist....
the little snippet man. [dashes in and dashes out]
    the little quickies~~~ of nonsense
    IAH is a Judaizer....

lets have the spirit ADULT VERSION... +the truth of this matter.

    here is the simple truth
The 3 caveats are NOT LAWS.
They were practice directions for the health of the church,
“You will do well to avoid these things.”
    They did not say if you do these things, you will lose your salvation;

The HOLY SPIRIT indicated to the apostles to PUT THE LAW ON THE GENTILES is a burden!
look at what has been said, and the verdict which had been reached, chronologically.
Are the Gentiles required to keep the 10 commandments the Mosaic Law?

    Paul: NO
    Barnabas: NO
    Peter: NO
    James: NO
    Apostles: NO
    Elders: NO
    Holy Spirit: NO

just tidying up your deceptions IAH - as one naught little Judaizer man hey~~~~~let it be noted these 3 men loathe the goodnews and the work of the cross..............people LIKE THESE 3 MEN WERE AS AN IRRITATION to the new covenant believers.

The Gentiles had Four NECESSARY commands for FELLOWSHIP with the Jewish BELIEVERS!

Shalom ALL, here again, delusion and deception abounds. Let's clarify. James, the Leader of the Jewish Believers in Jerusalem, was the one who determined these FOUR necessary commands that the Gentiles were required to keep, that is, IF they were to be considered BELIEVERS also, with the full rights of FELLOWSHIPPING with the Jewish BELIEVERS. Years after James gave his decision at the Council Meeting, Paul returns to Jerusalem and there is quite a stir. Why, because the Jewish Believers were hearing RUMORS that Paul was telling JEWS that they need not follow Moses, nor circumcise their CHILDREN, nor follow the CUSTOMS (Oral Law):

      Acts 21:18 - 21:21

18 And the [day] following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
19 And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things Elohim had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
20 And when they heard [it], they glorified Yahweh, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother (Paul), how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the Law:
21 And they are informed about thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise [their] children, neither to walk after the customs.

These RUMORS that the BELIEVING Jews were hearing about Paul, are STILL being PROCLAIMED by delusional and deceived teachers in OUR day. Paul was not teaching JEWS these things, and it is even re-iterated about the FOUR necessary COMMANDS required for the Gentile Converts:

      Acts 21:24 - 21:25

24 Them take (the four men under a vow), and purify thyself with them (Paul AND the four men), and be at charges with them, that they may shave [their] heads: and all may know that those things (false RUMORS), whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but [that] thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the Law.
25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written [and] concluded (back at the Council of Acts 15) that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from [things] offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication (the FOUR necessary commands from the Law of Moses that are required for the Gentile Converts)

Acts 21 PROVES positively that the Jewish BELIEVERS kept the Law of Moses, and were ZEALOUS to do so, and that the Gentile Believers were required to KEEP those FOUR necessary commandments from the Law of Moses. Don't let deceived and delusional teachers get you following their false teachings about the Law of Moses. Yeshua stated that if anyone breaks the LEAST of the Commandments, and teaches other to do LIKEWISE, they will be called LEAST in the Kingdom of Heaven:

Mt 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of the least commandments (in the Law of Moses), and shall teach men to do likewise, he/she shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

And Yeshua goes even FURTHER in His support of the Law of Moses by telling us that IF we refuse to BELIEVE what Moses WROTE, how can we believe what He says:

      Jn 5:46 - 5:47

46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me.
47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?

Please everyone, don't be FOOLED by these false teachers, they know NOTHING, yet PRETEND to be experts with their "vain jangling" (1 Tim 1:6-7).

That's true Ken, the Gentile believers were already hearing the law preached to them every Sabbath day Acts 13:42-44; Acts 15:21, and no further instructions were needed for them.

          Ken,

Almost ALL of the newer translations(NIV, RSV.etc) of Acts 13 has left out the word "Gentiles" you can do a word search first in the old K.J.V. of the word "Gentiles".

          http://www.blbclassic.org/search/tra...s&page=2&t=KJV

Now compare it to the NEWER TRANSLATIONS, this truth that the Gentiles were gathered on the Sabbath day has been removed from the modern translations, but the O.K.J.V. reveals the truth.

ASV Acts 13:42= And as they went out, they besought that these words might be spoken to them the next sabbath.

          http://www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?...&v=1&t=ASV#top

OKJV Acts 13:42=And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

          http://www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?...&v=42&t=KJV#42

I rest Yah's case in point.

Shalom Eliyahu, yes, point well taken. I have used Acts 13:42 on many occassions to prove with Sunday keepers that the 1st day of the week was NOT the day of worship, according to this verse, because all Paul would have needed to tell them (the Gentiles) is, "Hey, we meet tomorrow, on Sunday, why don't you join us instead of waiting until that NEXT OT Jewish Sabbath (Acts 13:44)." Blessings in The Name, ImAHebrew/Ken.

P.S. Concerning the point with Spying about your statement "Beast Week," I have a feeling he is going to hold your feet to the fire to come up with an EXACT verse that states it. Sort of like you try to hold our feet to the fire about our statement of "Grace being the result of sin." We give you verse after verse that INDICATES it, but NOT a specific "word for word" verse, and I have a feeling you will have to come up with that "word for word" verse that states there is a "Beast Week," or Beast Sabbath, instead of just quoting a bunch of verses that you interpret to mean what you are teaching.
Col 2:16 & 17 Teaches us that no "man" is to determine what we eat or drink, or how the Sabbath, Holy Days, and New Moon should be observed, instead, The Body of Messiah IS to determine those things, just like what happened in Acts 15.

Shalom Eliyahu, and we have done the same.

INCREASE sin, you increase Grace all the more (Romans 5:20)

Grace is the "free gift of righteousness" (Romans 5:16, Romans 3:24, Gal 2:21, Gal 3:21)

If you desire or seek this free gift of righteousness (justification), you had to be a sinner (Gal 2:17), and somehow THROUGH our sin, we accomplished what the Law required of us, and became DOERS of the Law (Romans 2:13). Righteousness comes by DOING the commandments (Deut 6:25, Psa 117:172), and ALL have sinned, falling short of claiming this righteousness/doing of the Law (Romans 3:21-24). But the good news is that IF, by FAITH you confess that YOUR sin did SLAY and SACRIFICE The Offering required by the Law for YOU and ALL sinners to do as a result of sin done in ignorance (Lev 4:27-29), then you have RIGHTEOUSNESS...by sinning and KILLING Yeshua. But it is that only those who confess and believe THROUGH faith that Yeshua was SLAYED by THEM, have this righteousness, this FREE Gift-Grace, and that belief FORCES the believers sin to go INTO remission, TURNING from ALL of their iniquities (Acts 3:26).

So Eliyahu, you see how easy that is to PROVE that Grace is the result of or comes to us THROUGH our sin, by our sacrificing or slaying of Yeshua, much easier to PROVE than the "Beast Week?"
Col 2:16 & 17 Teaches us that no "man" is to determine what we eat or drink, or how the Sabbath, Holy Days, and New Moon should be observed, instead, The Body of Messiah IS to determine those things, just like what happened in Acts 15.

JUDAIZERS = the cross is not good enough for these people.

so ~~~~they combine the 2 covenants = an impossible feat
The “Judaizing” members, who still insisted that salvation came through the Law, criticized the actions of Peter (Acts 11:2–3)
and were a major source of irritation in the Church.

the ''snippet man'' loves to mock Peter...... he now jeers the actions of Peter telling us all how to think = ofcourse according to herbert Armstrong
if you wish to remain under the '' Herbert Armstrong ministry''... believe Spying his little brother IAH and ofcourse poor Elijah...

Lucy, where does Acts 11:2-3 say, they insisted that salvation came through the law, and where is the word "Judaizing" used here?

Also, this chapter mentions Paul, do you now acknowledge him as an apostle, and from whom did you learn the source of irritation in the Church??
