Jesus is Our Sabbath

they labour in vain.

THE various elements of the Sabbath symbolized the coming of the Messiah, who would provide a permanent rest for His people.

With the establishment of the Old Testament Law, the Jews were constantly "laboring" to make themselves acceptable to God.
Their labors included trying to obey a myriad of do’s and don’ts of the ceremonial law, the Temple law, the civil law, etc.
Of course they couldn’t possibly keep all those laws, so God provided an array of sin offerings and sacrifices so they could come to Him for forgiveness and restore fellowship with Him, but only temporarily.
Just as they began their physical labors after a one-day rest, so, too, did they have to continue to offer sacrifices.

Hebrews 10:1 tells us that the law "can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship."

But these sacrifices were offered in anticipation of the ultimate sacrifice of Christ on the cross, who "after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God" (Hebrews 10:12).

Just as He rested after performing the ultimate sacrifice, He sat down and rested—ceased from His labor of atonement because there was nothing more to be done, ever.
Because of what He did, we no longer have to "labor" in law-keeping in order to be justified in the sight of God.
Jesus was sent so that we might rest in God and in what He has provided. =Math 11 v 28 29 30

However Jesus never came to start a RELIGION.

To be trained up,
into a divine living standard here, and to walk by faith in the same/exact manner as Jesus did here
How?
- doing all He did here... and to DISPLAY the divine man [ our real true spiritual man] within by caring and sharing out into all this world.

He saw the potential of man to rise out of two thousand years of winter and enter the spring of humanity.
Out of the seed Jesus Christ planted would spring up the new creation man.
Christ-like Beings, Sons and Daughters of God with powers to do as Christ did and even greater.
Mankind would have the capacity to shed its animal nature and grow up into the fullness of its Christed life.

Maybe you have wondered as I have, why is disease and sickness just as prevalent in what we call "the church" as it is in the world.
Why is there not a people living and demonstrating what Jesus Christ came to live and demonstrate, a life in perfect health, void of needs, dependent on his source, and with a knowing his source was Infinite?
john 10 v 10

We have been taught God is infinite, but what does that mean?
Infinite means having no boundaries or limitations, extending without end, perfect, and is applied to those things which are measureless, numberless, countless and innumerable.

Christ had a deep revelation that his source was infinite, and even greater, this source was fully and completely in him!
He never went about looking for something outside of himself.

He never spoke of need, was never sick, and death couldn't hold him!
He demonstrated the "Christed" life and told us, as I am, so are you!

He also said he came to bring us life ("Zoe" or spirit life) and that more abundantly (beyond measure).
Christ was teaching, we too can live from the infinite and divine source of God which is within ourselves.
Can we believe what Christ said?
Is it for us today when it seems there is a new disease always looming in our world, just ready to steal our health and life?
Is disease part of God's plan to teach us something?
We must know the truth!
