    Really Lucy?

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:6.

    Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none;

Then WHY did James write this below?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor James 2:5-6.

Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith,

But ye have despised the poor

Repost of Ken's, it seems to fit perfectly.

Hi Lucy, who do you think was in poverty, the one who gave all, or the many who gave much?

        Mar 12:41-44
        (41) And Yeshua sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
        (42) And there came a certain poor ?demon controlled? widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
        (43) And He called unto Him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor ?demon controlled? widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
        (44) For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

And this poor widow, according to your doctrine, must have been under generational demonic influences of debt/pride/lust? Lucy, didn't Messiah say that those who FORSAKE all for His Sake will GAIN:

        Mat 10:39
        (39) He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it.

        Mat 16:25
        (25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.

        Mat 19:29
        (29) And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

And what was His attitude about earthly wealth:

        Mat 10:9

        (9) "Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,

        Luk 12:15
        (15) And He said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

        Mar 10:23
        (23) And Yeshua, looking around, said to His disciples, "How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of Elohim!"

So you may want to alter your attitude against those who do not have your wealth. Ken

i realise how easy it is to twist scriptures... and remain church poor as a ''virtue'

and subjected to want and need
this is a ''religious / social engineering'' [to keep 'em slaves to the system]

when i was learning about poverty, YESHUA REMINDED ME of how HIS HANDS GAVE OUT ABUNDANCE.....
          why?
          TO HELP ALL IN NEED....
          how?
AS AN NEVER ENDING SUPPLY route into the divine kingdom

He also will always supply His disciples with HIS KINGDOM ABUNDANCE TO GIVE OUT to those in need in all manner of ways.... that will bring HIM ALL THE GLORY amen JOHN 10 V 10

          the example is....
There never was a single situation in the whole earthly ministry of Yeshua where He lacked anything.
Not one, I challenge you to find it.
Even when He sent His disciples out they didn’t lack anything.
He had unorthodox ways of doing things! I mean, when He wanted the tax money instead of going to the bank and cashing a check He sent Peter to the sea and got a fish.
But the result was the same.

what needs to be considered is...

He was not overly wealthy but He had abundance.
          He was never worried,
          He was never perplexed,
          He was never under pressure,
          He never panicked;
He was calmly and completely in control of every situation and
He never doubted, as His Father’s goodness would come up with everything He needed.
The Father never failed Him once.
          That’s not poverty.

What’s poverty? however let me go back to the roots of poverty as seen in this world.
IT NEEDS TO BE defined . Hungry, thirsty, naked, and in want.

            Lucy,

Do YOU think that I could not have had this world's riches? I certainly could have, but the truth is, that I care nothing for riches of money, because I'm only a sojourner here, and I look for a Kingdom wherein dwells righteousness.

ABUNDANCE - IS FROM HEAVEN, - poverty a spirit from the devil....

the church makes ''poverty a virtue'' yet, THIS is FALACY from the pit of hell.
POVERTY PROVES THE SAVIOUR IS NOT THE SHEHERD OF THE HOME, OR NATION.
PsaLm 23 makes it clear when the true shepherd in in control none shall want.

curses - need to be understood, and go from generation to generation..... unless BROKEN.

              Conditions indicating curses
              1. Mental and emotional breakdown
              2. Repeated or chronic sicknesses (esp. without clear medical diagnosis)
              3. Repeated miscarriages or related female problems
              4. Breakdown of marriage—family alienation
              5. Continuing financial insufficiency (esp. where income appears sufficient)

the cross caters for our spirit soul and body = here as we develop into ZOE ETERNAL LIFE = HERE

                Lucy,

Who is wanting for riches? It is usually the rich that want more riches, and they can't seem to get enough.

Or, are you trying to polish up the old rich lady so she can ease her conscience?

UNDERSTANDING THE CURSE OF POVERTY....[poor is not VIRTUE]

AND WHAT is its causes and remedy

IT IS BECAUSE IN A CERTAIN AREAS, CITY, NATION, there is MUCHSATANIC worship being carried out from generation to generation,
a strong hold is apparent and curses rule over entire towns/cities/ states/even nations

it is a 'BIGGY'' for sure + needs to be BROKEN.

so here is those promises found in Psalm 34:9–10 and 84:11
                    NOTICE
That God will not withhold anything good from us, provided that we meet three conditions:
                    we must fear the Lord;
                    second, we must seek the Lord;
                    third, we must walk uprightly.

WHEN THIS IS NOT HAPPENING - BLESSINGS CANNOT FLOW~~~~
FATHER does not withhold any good thing from me, infact, He showers me with His blessing.. as my testimony - and out from HIS ABUNDANCE I CAN GIVE TO OTHERS amen
I oft time think of the ''windows of heaven'' are opened 2 me, and I wondered why this is so?
then I realised I walk by faith 1st of all... I step out and simply WALK IN HIS KINGDOM PROMISES..... AND THEN AND Only THEN DO THESE BILE BLESSINGS FLOW

''what if'' - is a cursed mind set and belongs to the fallen ego
                        but too cont..

                        Are riches absolutely good?
                        Yes. Revelation 5:12 lists
seven things that are absolutely good and that belong by
eternal right to Christ, and through Him, to His
people: power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and
                        blessing
                        (See 1 Chronicles 29:12 and Deuteronomy 8:18.)

                        The Poverty Curse

                        Now focus on one particular
aspect of the curse that YESHUA bore on our behalf—the poverty curse.

This curse presented in its most absolute form in Deuteronomy 28 v 48
It was summed up in four parts:hunger, thirst, nakedness, and in need of ALL THINGS

And that is exactly what Yeshua
experienced on the cross AND BORE THESE SINS ON HIS BODY

grace... and poverty - dont mix

Clearly, it is grace that operates in the realm of money.
                              therefore Yeshua teaches how to.....

                              Appropriating Material Abundance

Few church believers realize that this applies in the realm of financial and material provision just as much as in any other area of our lives.
however there are conditions as Proverb 10 v 4 Proverbs 24 v 30-34 points out
In our attitude to the poor it needs to be
seen that it is wrong to
oppress the poor or to be indifferent to
their need. On the contrary, Scripture
requires us to show mercy to the poor
in an active and practical way.
