The Witness Of The Apostle Paul!

    Hi Lucy,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

You are in the habit of changing your signature line. Since you locked up this thread, it might be helpful for any future readers to see the signature line you used at the time the thread was locked. Here it is:

    "Paul was a Pharisee.
One day he had a ‘revelation’.
He changed his name from Saul to Paul, and straightway preached his revelations about the ‘Christ’ in the synagogues.
Paul continued to have new ‘revelations’ that spoke ‘of’ and ‘for’ a Christ, but he was glaringly silent about the actual life of Yahoshua (Jesus) and his teachings."

The Apostle Paul was not glaringly silent about the teachings of Messiah Yahushua. If you remember, Messiah after HIS resurrection engaged in two rather exhaustive bible studies with His Disciples. In those bible studies, Messiah explained how the OT Scriptures applied to HIMSELF. In the first study, Messiah began with Moses:

    Luke 24:27
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And it was no different in the second study:

    Luke 24:44-48
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses and the prophets and psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Now, Paul like yourself was not present at those bible studies, but there is a glaring difference in what Paul taught in the Diaspora and what you do now teach on this forum. Please take at look at Paul's method of operation and the type of his teaching:

    Act 17:1-3
1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them from the scriptures,
3 Opening and alleging, that the Messiah must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Yahushua, whom I preach unto you, is the Messiah.

The Apostle Paul never attempted to teach about Yahushua apart from the OT Scriptures as you yourself do today. Here is a further description of his activity in Rome:

    Acts 28:23
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of the ELOHIM, persuading them concerning the Yahushua, from both the law of Moses and the prophets, from morning till evening.

The Apostle Paul followed the method and nature of teaching about Yahushua that Yahushua HIMSELF made known to HIS Apostles, and Paul was a witness to that teaching just like they were blessed to be; otherwise, how could Paul go forth and teach in the manner that Messiah taught HIS Disciples?

Lucy, are you blessed to take the Law of Moses and the Prophets and Psalms and teach Yahushua from them? If not, then you should really take the time to think about the nature of your witness.

Thanking YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua should you be moved to engage in the same type of witness as the Apostle Paul, I am,
    Sincerely, Latuwr

    i dont read Elijah's posts .....

When a pastor tells his congregation that those who leave his church or disobey his authority are in danger of God’s wrath, you can be sure this man is operating in a spirit of control. He is attempting to sow fear as a carnal means of keeping people in his church.

“If you leave this church,” he may warn, “the blessing of God will be lifted from your life, and you will miss God’s will. You will be in rebellion, and you will open yourself up to all kinds of calamity. The devil will have freedom to attack you because you have walked away from God’s protection,” that “protection” being the one true church that he happens to pastor.

Fear is the motivation behind such comments — not love. You can be sure that this type of reasoning is not from God. Jesus never motivated people out of fear. Fear is a form of manipulation, which is sin. Instead of motivating people through love and a call to serve the body of Christ and reach the lost, a spiritually abusive minister will try to motivate through manipulation.

The apostle John is called the apostle of love because he wrote so much about our call as Christians to walk in love.
'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,' he wrote in 1 John 4:18.

I don't read Elijah's posts, in my opinion a ''normal'' Christian person, swallowing the leaven of the Pharisee.
a fair accessment has been made of the fruits of the Pharisee saul/paul and his system that reproduces the ugly Christian as he was ugly.

thread closed~~~~ because unless divine LOVE IS THE CORE ISSUE it is all a waste of time.

    pastor abusers....

as saul/paul was an abuser, so too are many pastors.
    THEY ABUSE THE SHEEP
    YET, THE TRUE SHEPHERD never does this but looks after his sheep;

I suppose the reality is so few know their bible and simply not have the holy discernment of common sense to walk away from all religious abusers of humanity

    John wrote:

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4.

    John wrote again:

He/She that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8.

Lucy want tell you this, but I will.

Those who teach against God's law is of the devil, John flat out says so.

Does Lucyfer not teach against God's laws on this forum? Ask yourself this question.

I'm all for people repenting of sin/ie transgression of the law 1 John 3:4. Now why don't YOU be the first person to repent here Lucy?

Why do you ask others to do what YOU will not do?

And why do YOU ask others to ""[don't listen to strangers and their sidekicks.]"" when YOU run all over the internet listening to strangers????????????????????

We’ve all heard the reasons why 1,700 to 2,000 pastors are leaving the pastorate each month in the USA.

Burnout, depression, conflict with a member, lack of income, etc.

However, the reason that’s rarely mentioned is a crisis of conscience.

Countless pastors have concluded that the present form of the pastoral role is not biblical, and God never intended anyone to fill it—especially them.

This article is for the thousands of expastors who knew something wasn’t right with the office they were filling. But they weren’t sure what was wrong or why it was wrong.

We are here to encourage you by announcing (1) you are not crazy (2) there are hundreds of thousands of servants of God who once served as local pastors and felt exactly the same way you did. So fear not.

When you die the first death, everyone will say """there lays the body of truth"". WHY? Because the truth never came out of her.

    Lucyfer said in her tagline:

ask yourself why would Yeshua bypass the apostles with this ‘new’ revelation; choosing instead to reveal it to a Pharisee, the sect He called ‘vipers’, Matthew 12:34, and sons of the devil, John 8:44?
A Pharisis in the modern term, John 8:44 is indeed speaking to you is it not??

Lucy, do you think these socalled pasters and ministers called Paul their Christ, or did they call Christ Jesus their Christ??

Again, the only ones calling Paul a leader or a Christ, is YOU and your strangers that you tell others to not listen to.

I told YOU, again and again YOU speak out of the both sides of your mouth. A Pharisis huh?

Your own words strangle you again huh Lucy?

these are SINcere men, following another gospel under different advice

Many pastors struggle with depression and discouragement.

70% of pastors constantly fight depression and 50% of pastors feel so discouraged that they would leave the ministry if they could, but have no other way of making a living.

Wait, this is huge. Let’s pause here for a moment.

This means that half of the 1,700 or so pastors who leave the ministry each month have no other way of making a living. Their education and experience is wrapped up solely in the work of the ministry.

So, not only do pastors struggle with their choice to leave ministry, they have to worry about how they are going to feed their families.

Speaking of families, most pastor’s families are negatively impacted.

80% believe pastoral ministry has negatively affected their families. 80% of spouses feel the pastor is overworked and feel left out and under-appreciated by church members.

how odd, the fruits of satanic rulership - from a messy flawed gospel they believed.
you know, how opposite the FOLLOWING OF THE SAVIOUR IS... when only he is our teacher and advisor - THE GOOD SHEPHERD.... never looked after these sheep. alas.
    tradition
    tradition
    corrupts

IT BASICALLY COMES BACK TO CULTURE... THE Pauline CULT.

50% of the ministers starting out will not last 5 years.
1 out of every 10 ministers will actually retire as a minister in some form.
And 4,000 new churches begin each year while 7,000 churches close.

    The statistics speak for themselves.
Working in ministry – whether you’re a full-time pastor or a lay minister balancing a job and a church – can be challenging.
Families suffer, discouragement and depression – amongst a gamut of other things – runs like a river in the lives of those who sacrifice their own life to the cause of the church.

This is the reason why we started ExPastors.com – as a way to explore the whys behind people leaving the ministry and to provide support and encouragement for those who have left or are considering calling it quits.

What about the apostle Peter as a Christian?

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 1 Peter 4:16.

By all means ignore the apostle Peter speaking of a Christian suffering too.
