When a pastor tells his congregation that those who leave his church or disobey his authority are in danger of God’s wrath, you can be sure this man is operating in a spirit of control. He is attempting to sow fear as a carnal means of keeping people in his church.

“If you leave this church,” he may warn, “the blessing of God will be lifted from your life, and you will miss God’s will. You will be in rebellion, and you will open yourself up to all kinds of calamity. The devil will have freedom to attack you because you have walked away from God’s protection,” that “protection” being the one true church that he happens to pastor.

Fear is the motivation behind such comments — not love. You can be sure that this type of reasoning is not from God. Jesus never motivated people out of fear. Fear is a form of manipulation, which is sin. Instead of motivating people through love and a call to serve the body of Christ and reach the lost, a spiritually abusive minister will try to motivate through manipulation.

The apostle John is called the apostle of love because he wrote so much about our call as Christians to walk in love.

'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,' he wrote in 1 John 4:18.

I don't read Elijah's posts, in my opinion a ''normal'' Christian person, swallowing the leaven of the Pharisee.
a fair accessment has been made of the fruits of the Pharisee saul/paul and his system that reproduces the ugly Christian as he was ugly.

The Witness Of The Apostle Paul!

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

You are in the habit of changing your signature line. Since you locked up this thread, it might be helpful for any future readers to see the signature line you used at the time the thread was locked. Here it is:

"Paul was a Pharisee.
One day he had a ‘revelation’.
He changed his name from Saul to Paul, and straightway preached his revelations about the ‘Christ’ in the synagogues.
Paul continued to have new ‘revelations’ that spoke ‘of’ and ‘for’ a Christ, but he was glaringly silent about the actual life of Yahoshua (Jesus) and his teachings."

The Apostle Paul was not glaringly silent about the teachings of Messiah Yahushua. If you remember, Messiah after HIS resurrection engaged in two rather exhaustive bible studies with His Disciples. In those bible studies, Messiah explained how the OT Scriptures applied to HIMSELF. In the first study, Messiah began with Moses:

Luke 24:27
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And it was no different in the second study:

Luke 24:44-48
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses and the prophets and psalms, concerning me.
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Now, Paul like yourself was not present at those bible studies, but there is a glaring difference in what Paul taught in the Diaspora and what you do now teach on this forum. Please take at look at Paul's method of operation and the type of his teaching:

Act 17:1-3
1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them from the scriptures,
3 Opening and alleging, that the Messiah must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Yahushua, whom I preach unto you, is the Messiah.

The Apostle Paul never attempted to teach about Yahushua apart from the OT Scriptures as you yourself do today. Here is a further description of his activity in Rome:

Acts 28:23
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of the ELOHIM, persuading them concerning the Yahushua, from both the law of Moses and the prophets, from morning till evening.

The Apostle Paul followed the method and nature of teaching about Yahushua that Yahushua HIMSELF made known to HIS Apostles, and Paul was a witness to that teaching just like they were blessed to be; otherwise, how could Paul go forth and teach in the manner that Messiah taught HIS Disciples?

Lucy, are you blessed to take the Law of Moses and the Prophets and Psalms and teach Yahushua from them? If not, then you should really take the time to think about the nature of your witness.
