Knowing YAHWEH!

Shortened Days!

Check this out! Messiah said:

Matt 24:19-22
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (KJV)

Are these the latter days of the Seven Days of Purification that Messiah is speaking about? Why should one pray that one's flight be before the coming of the Millennium? Why is is better to flee in every season but spiritual winter? Messiah says that some very terrible days have already been shortened. In Mark's account, Messiah is quoted as saying that YAHWEH had already shortened the Days:

Mark 13:20
20 And except that (the) YAHWEH had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. (KJV)

How has YAHWEH already shortened the Days? I submit that YAHWEH did so by taking time from the latter days, and that YAHWEH did give this time to the Third Day. YAHWEH did this for the elect's sake. Time was added to the Third Day so that spiritual Israel could overcome her enemies. Death is one of the enemies. Satan is also an enemy. This world is an enemy. Time was given to the Third Day until Messiah Yahushua should come to triumph over death and the grave, Satan, and this world. Well is it said of the Seed of Abraham, Messiah Yahushua, that he should possess the gate of his enemies:

Gen 22:17
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; (KJV)

When did the Third Day end? The Third Day ended when the Body of Messiah, the Assembly, entered the grave. From that time to the present, there has been no sprinkling. There has been no Word of YAHWEH spoken to this world.

What does it mean that no flesh should "be saved"?

Examining the Seven Days of Purification, we immediately notice that two of the seven days are different from the others. Two of the days are sprinkling days. Now, I am going to ask the reader here to start thinking on a spiritual level. Well, what do I mean by that? Why do I ask you to begin thinking on a spiritual level? The physical days of our week represent something on a spiritual level. There are examples of that in the scriptures. I would have you recognize only one. YAHWEH informed Adam and Eve that they would die in the day that they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Did Adam and Eve die that same day? No, they did not, but when we start checking to see exactly when they did die, we see that Adam died at the ripe old age of 930 years. So, since YAHWEH does not lie, we can assume that on a spiritual level, YAHWEH does consider a spiritual day to be at least 930 years long.

The Apostle Peter makes this comment for those inclined to mock MESSIAH YAHWEH:

2 Pet 3:8
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with ADONAI as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.(KJV)

Now, if we should take the seven physical days in the process of purification, and if we should apply this reasoning to them, we can readily see that it is possible that YAHWEH has ordained seven thousand years for this world to be purified. If this is true, then the two sprinkling days become exceeding important in my mind.

The seventh day is a sprinkling day as was the third. Of course, in my thinking the seventh day also represents the Sabbath Day which is a day of rest. Many do look forward to this day. Some call it the Millennium. The Jews are looking forward to their messiah coming to inaugurate this day and to establish the Kingdom of YAHWEH over all the earth. Under their messiah's reign, the Jews will rule the world from physical Jerusalem. The Law will go forth from Jerusalem. The world will be forced to obey the Law. That is how they think, and in their thinking we, Gentiles, will all be under their rule and their Law.

The third spiritual day was also a sprinkling day. What was different or special about that day? Did the whole world also become under the Law on that day? Sure it did. YAHWEH through Moses sprinkled the Law to the Children of Israel on the third day. And the Children of Israel did take the Law to the world, and in the hearing (the ground which receives the gentle rain) of the Law, the world became under the Law. Now, was the world forced to obey the Law on the spiritual third day? Yes, on a spiritual level, the whole world did respond to the Law with obedience on the spiritual third day. We were forced to do so through the work of Messiah Yahushua. How could that be?

Well, maybe we will work to supply an answer on this thread if there is anyone who has an interest.

For now begin to think in this fashion. The sprinkling days are rainy days. These are the days in which YAHWEH does sprinkle mankind with HIS word. Remember, the world is purified through doing His word, not just receiving or hearing His word.

You know it has been awhile since YAHWEH spoke, hasn't it? How many of you think that it is about time for YAHWEH to start speaking again?
