she has to be grounded in the REQUIREMENTS OF THE LORD and of His finished work and not go off on religious tangents that lead down rabbit holes and are not worthy of mature thinking.
The finished work, is past tense.
There is NO more to be done, that is why it is useless to do the ''works'' of the OT that are outside the advice of the Saviour in His Gospels. Religious people don't seem to be able to separate the Kingdom of Heaven to the 'works of their flesh'.
There is a blindness there that will kill them.
John the B came as a forerunner to announce THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND, so ''repent'' -
why did he state this in all his speeches and ministry?
'repent' He said over and over.
why?
because the ''works of the flesh in the law of Moses'' could never take man into the kingdom of heaven.
IT NEEDED a sacrifice to say'' IT IS FINISHED,'' to receive This kingdom and when the Saviour stated this = His Ekklesia, have been given the Power to move on into the Perfected and Reconciled Dimensions
you cannot take the baggage of the flesh of religious OT works over into the Kingdom values, despite all those dead clergy telling you too.
when you pay homage to the law of Moses, you pay the homage to sin.
