here is how a Moses style of church religion works - it is found in nature as an example for learning......

place a few insects in a glass jar and place a cover with small holes over the top of the jar. The insects inside shall try to get out by flying to the top of the jar, after a while, they give up and simply fly round the middle of the jar.
When the baby insects hatch out they dont bother to fly to the top of the jar but stay even lower, flying around underneath their parents.
After a time each generation dies off leaving the last generation crawling on the floor of the jar and not bothering to even to fly.
