  • Works In The New Testament!

    Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

The Passover Season is here, and I am working to clean my home of all leavened bread and leavening agents before the Days of Unleavened Bread begin this Friday evening. Actually, I usually remove all leaven the day before so that no leaven remains on the night that Yahushua was betrayed. This year this night begins on Thursday evening.

Whenever I explain this practice to folks, often they will ask if I am Jewish because such practices are foreign to Christians who are right now preparing to celebrate Easter with their Easter Hams and all? Is it a good work to celebrate Easter? Is it a good work to eat ham?

How about Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread? Is is a good work to celebrate these days? Is it a good work to eat unleavened bread for seven days with your meals?

Please, let's take the time to examine what the New Testament has to say about works. There exist all kinds of works in the New Testament. Messiah had this to say about a distinct type of work which Messiah calls "good (kalos) works":

    Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Obviously, Messiah above is speaking to Jews. What must a Jew be doing in order for others to see his or her good works? Can Gentile Christians also engage in "good works"? Are good works different for Christians than they are for Jews? Who is it today that is the light of the world?

Thanking in advance any that may be moved to do as Messiah suggests above, I am,

    Sincerely, Latuwr

    The Works Of Messiah Yahushua!

    Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Did Messiah Yahushua follow HIS own advice? Did Messiah let HIS light shine? Absolutely! Consider HIS words to the Disciples of John:

    Matthew 11:2-6
2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Messiah, he sent two of his disciples,
3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
4 Yahushua answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

    What is light?:

    Proverbs 6:23
23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Messiah Yahushua claimed that it was HIS purpose to fulfil the Law and the Prophets (see Matthew 5:17-18), and then Messiah Yahushua claimed that HE HIMSELF was the Light of the World:

    John 8:12
12 Then spake Yahushua again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Why is it that all those who do the good works of Messiah Yahushua named above, why is it that they do not have the light of life? Why do they all barring death by violence, why do they all grow old, eventually get sick, and then die, ably displaying the darkness of death? Why is it that they have no abiding light in themselves as Messiah had light in HIMSELF?

Thanking all in advance that should be moved to reply, I am,

    Sincerely, Latuwr

      The Work Of YAHWEH ELOHIM!

      Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

      Asking, I asked?:

"Why is it that they have no abiding light in themselves as Messiah had light in HIMSELF?"

They have no abiding light in themselves because they believe in a Jesus that is not according to the Scriptures (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The reason that I use Yahushua instead of Jesus is to cause the reader to understand that a false messiah is promoted by Christianity. Neither this pseudo messiah nor those who believe in him have the ability to abide because their faith is not according to the Old Testament Scriptures. All who believe in and promote this false messiah are under the ban (see Malachi 4:6). They are cursed (2 Corinthians 4:5-6, Galatians 1:8-9) and, therefore, they cannot remain. They all die in their sins.

The Tzaddikim believe in a Messiah that is fully in accord with the Scriptures:

      http://www.tzaddikim.org/articles/gracei~2.html

The hearts of the Tzaddikim have been turned to this true Yahushua, and, therefore, we have opportunity to remain in HIM (John 15:4-5).

It is the work of YAHWEH ELOHIM that we might believe on HIM who HE has sent (John 6:28-29)! How about you? Has YAHWEH turned your heart to believe in the true Yahushua? Have you been brought to the Light?

Thanking all in advance that may be moved to reply, I am,

      Sincerely, Latuwr

        Works: Good And Evil!

        Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

So, my dear Christian and Jewish friends:

"Have you been brought to the Light?"

The Apostle John said this about Messiah Yahushua:

        John 1:4-5
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

The world in which we live and dwell is darkness. Messiah Yahushua said this about HIS light and our world:

        John 3:19-20
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their works were evil (hurtful, injurious).
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his works should be reproved.

My, oh my, do you see that folks? The New Testament teaches that some works are good and that some works are evil. How do we determine whether a work is good or evil (hurtful, injurious)?

Thanking any in advance that should be moved to reply, I am,

        Sincerely, Latuwr

          Is Sin Evil?

          Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

          Shabbat Shalom!

How do we determine whether a work is good or evil (hurtful, injurious)?

Messiah Yahushua said this about evil:

          Matthew 15:16-20
16 And Yahushua said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Covetousness is a sin of thought. How did Messiah, who committed no sin, know that the above thoughts and sins were evil? If murder and fornication are evil, why would forgetting the Sabbath Day to keep it holy not also be evil (hurtful or injurious)? If the above sins are hurtful and defile, why would a man or woman not also be defiled by their failure to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy?

Thanking in advance any that should be moved to give reply, I am,

          Sincerely, Latuwr

            The Promoters Of The Anomia!

            Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

The Apostle John had this to say about sin:

            1 John 3:4-7
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (Please allow me to retranslate this verse for the reader: 4 All who are doing or working the sin also work the lawlessness (the anomia), and the sin is the anomia.)
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. (Please notice that Messiah came in order to take away our anomia. I say this because John indicates in verse 4 above that the sin and the anomia are synonmous. Antinomians like Lucy fail to understand that Messiah does not promote the anomia or the lawlessness in any way or fashion. The risen Messiah Yahushua promotes the doing of the Law which is actually the doing of righteousness as the verses below declare. Please read Psalms 119:172 for a biblical definition of righteousness!)
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

The implications of the above verses are actually very clear. Not remembering the Sabbath Day to keep it holy is sin, and make no mistake, this sin is also the anomia!

If you should claim that the risen Messiah Yahushua is your Savior from your sins, why do I find any of you yet promoting lawlessness?

Thanking you in advance should you be moved to reply, I am,

            Sincerely, Latuwr

              The Man Of The Lawlessness!

              Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Please allow me to digress at this point. My ultimate goal by this thread is to discuss the nature of the works of the Law and exactly how the gift of righteousness relates to those works in promoting LIFE NOW for all those that believe!

I must digress here to draw attention to an issue which I have explored for a number of years, namely, how exactly does the Man of the Anomia (lawlessness) or the Man of the Amartia (sin) rise up to promote the Apostasy. We have seen through the Apostle John how the Sin equals the Lawlessness, and we are informed by the Apostle Paul that the Man of the Lawlessness is the Son of the Perdition (apoleia: consumption, destruction, waste). The Disciple Judas was a type of this Man of Lawlessness. The activity of Judas shadows the activity of the Man of Lawlessness, and the activity of both promote the Apostasy. Judas and the Man of Lawlessness are similar in that their activity brings forth death by suicide! This is significant in that all those that are engaged in the Apostasy are in fact actually engaged in the process of suicide. In other words, their deeds lead to physical death, and their deeds do not promote or result in LIFE NOW!
Any Yahushua, any Gospel which is not according to the Old Testament Scriptures is a part of the Apostasy. Paul indicated that the Anomia, the Lawlessness, was already working in his time (see 2 Thessalonians 2:7), and Paul refers to this activity as the Mystery of the Lawlessness.

Think about this for a moment. What is so mysterious about lawlessness?

Thanking in advance any that should be moved to reply, I am,

              Sincerely, Latuwr

                The Mystery Of Lawlessness!

                Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

                Asking, I asked:

"What is so mysterious about lawlessness?"

The Law, being the Word of ELOHIM, is a double edged sword. The Law has a physical fulfillment, and the Law has a spiritual fulfillment. Please take for instance the Commandment to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Resting from one's physical work each week on the 7th Day of the week is a major part of the physical fulfillment. Coming to a complete halt or rest from one's sin during one's lifetime is a major part of the spiritual fulfillment. Of course, this spiritual fulfillment results in LIFE NOW for all those who do truly enter into that spiritual rest (see Ezekiel 18:21-23). Please understand here that the Sabbath Forgetter or Breaker cannot enter into the spiritual rest or fulfillment without physically remembering the Sabbath Day to keep it holy each week.

Each physical fulfillment of the Law is a work of the Law. When I rest from my physical work each week, I am completing a work of the Law. By itself, this work does not save me from physical death. If I am of the persuasion that one can live by fulfilling all of the works of the Law in a physical sense, then I am compelled to fulfill the whole Law in a physical sense and do so perfectly (see Galatians 5:2-4, James 2:10)! So, by itself, keeping the Sabbath Day holy is insufficient to give me LIFE NOW. If I am to receive LIFE NOW through completing physical works of the Law, then I must approach the Law as a whole and fulfill every requirement of that Law in a physical sense.

On this forum, Lucy continually accused me of being a Judaizer, that is, someone who believes that the whole Law must be fulfilled in a physical sense. Indeed, the Apostolic Assembly or Church was filled with many Jewish Believers who were very zealous for the physical fulfillment of the Law (see Acts 21:20). Allow me to say point blank that I do not seek LIFE NOW through the physical fulfillment of the Law, that is, through physical works of the Law, and because this is the truth concerning me, obviously, I am not a Judaizer. This admission does not mean that I do not support the physical fulfillment of the Law.

Can I by this admission be accused of being lawless? Absolutely, and herein is the Mystery of Lawlessness revealed. Anyone who champions either the physical fulfillment of the Law over against the spiritual fulfillment of the Law or anyone who champions the spiritual fulfillment of the Law over against the physical fulfillment, both are engaged in a form of the Anomia, of the Lawlessness. I say this because Messiah Yahushua fulfilled the physical Law perfectly, and, at the same time, Messiah Yahushua was engaged in fulfilling the spiritual side of the Law. Messiah did not speak against either fulfillment. Messiah held both in high esteem.

Even so, I know that this is true: The spiritual fulfillment of the Law always has the right of way, so to speak, whenever there exists a conflict between the physical and spiritual fulfillments of the Law.

So, Dear Readers, if you are blessed to follow what I have expressed in this post, the Man of the Anomia can manifest himself in two different guises. This Man of the Sin can stress the physical fulfillment of the Law so that the spiritual fulfillment of the Law is not recognized or fulfilled, or this Man of Sin can stress the spiritual fulfillment of the Law so that the physical fulfillment of the Law is not recognized or fulfilled. Both activities are lawless even though a fulfillment of the Law is advocated with both. On the one hand, a fulfillment of the Law is advocated by the Man of the Anomia while at the same time a fulfillment of the Law is denied by the Man of the Anomia. This is the Mystery of the Lawlessness!

Thanking in advance any that should be moved to reply, I am,

                Sincerely, Latuwr

Dying To The Law Through The Law?

                  Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

                  Shabbat Shalom (Leviticus 23:8)!

The Apostle Paul teaches some amazing things about the Law in Romans 7. Paul recognizes that the preexistence Messiah Yahushua was the husband of Israel who entered into covenant with them by giving the Law to them. This relationship is implied in the beginning verses of Romans 7, and in verse 4, Paul acknowledges that the husband (Messiah Yahushua), who laid down the terms and conditions of the marriage relationship with Israel through the giving of the Law, has indeed died. Paul recognizes that the wife, Israel, is now free to marry another, and Paul makes a rather amazing statement that is true of both Jewish and Gentile Believers in Messiah Yahushua:

                  Romans 7:4
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Messiah; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto ELOHIM.

How, might I ask, do Believers become dead to the Law by the Body of Messiah Yahushua? Does not the death of Messiah according to Christian belief bring an abrupt end to the Law? If so, why do all Christians, and especially the Jews, why do they all still die? Scripture plainly declares that the soul that sins, it must die (Ezekiel 18:4). If the Law has come to an end, then no one should die, right/wrong/maybe?

If Believers do become dead to the Law by the Body of Messiah, how does this occur when Christian believers fundamentally believe that Messiah died in their stead to substitutionally pay their penalty for sin. Of course, substitutional atonement is against the stated Word of ELOHIM in Ezekiel (see Ezekiel 18:20). Even so, how do Believers also die to the Law if Messiah did actually die in their stead?

I will tell you plainly, Friends, that the New Testament was translated by antinomians, and, therefore, what you have in the English translations, is biased against the Law, and, accordingly, they do not give the reader the proper sense of what Paul is saying.

Please allow me to give you, the Reader, and alternate translation of the beginning of Romans 7:4:

Wherefore, my Brethren, you also have been made dead by the Law through the Body of Messiah,

The above translation is in full agreement with another statement of Paul on this very issue where Paul states:

                  Galatians 2:19
19 For I through (dia) the law have died to law, that I might live unto ELOHIM.

My Dear Christian Friends, if Yahushua died in your stead, and that death brings the end of the Law, could someone please explain to me how I did through the Law die to the Law?

Thanking all you substitutionalists who may be moved to give reply, I am,

                  Sincerely, Latuwr

                    Jews Who Believed!

                    Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

                    Paul wrote:

                    Galatians 2:15-21
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, (By natural descent, I am a Gentile; although, I do claim, in accordance with the promise of the Scriptures, that I am a descendant of the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Even so, I am a Gentile sinner according to the thinking of Paul right here in this verse. I was raised a Lutheran Christian, and, therefore, I gave lip service to the Law by confessing that I was a sinner every other Sunday. Christians through confession of sin openly admit that they have transgressed the Law, but in their confession of sin, they are very selective in acknowledging what sins they indeed are guilty of committing. On the other hand, natural Jews give lip service to the whole Law, and often they also are selective in choosing which commandments they will follow. Even so, natural Jews generally are raised with some knowledge of the Law, and with this knowledge comes the responsibility for them to do or perform, that is, to complete what the Law requires.)
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Yahushua Messiah, even we have believed in Yahushua Messiah, that we might be justified by the faith of Messiah, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Furthermore, in considering their responsibility to the Law, Jewish Believers acknowledge that they are not justified (made righteous) by the works of the Law. In Paul's thinking right here, a work of the Law is anything that is required or commanded by the Law that one must complete or fulfill in order to be considered righteous. Take the Passover Lamb for instance. The Law commands Jews to sacrifice a physical Passover Lamb each year. Whenever a Jew would fulfill that requirement, Jews found themselves in possession of the righteousness that comes to them through completing a work of the Law, but there exists a huge problem with this righteousness. It is very temporary. Each subsequent year, Jews were required to complete again the commandment that they must sacrifice a Passover Lamb. So, Jews can never ever say that they have fulfilled the Law if they rely on the sacrifice of a physical Passover Lamb or the works of the Law, can they? Jews, through the works of the Law, are always a work in progress. They are never completely justified because there is always something for them to complete that is required of them by the Law.
Jewish Believers, on the other hand, fully acknowledge that they have sacrificed their Passover Lamb, Messiah Yahushua. If this is indeed true, is this sacrifice something that Jewish Believers must complete over and over again? ELOHIM forbid; otherwise, Yahushua would continually be subjected to suffering and death. The sacrifice of Messiah Yahushua as the Passover Lamb is a one time sacrifice for all time, and should anyone lay claim to the righteousness that comes through that sacrifice, this righteousness is permanent because it is received by faith and not through fulfilling a physical work of the Law.)
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Messiah, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Messiah the minister of sin? ELOHIM forbid. (Paul right here acknowledges that being made righteous through belief that Messiah Yahushua is the Passover Lamb automatically proves that we are sinners. How does this happen? If we are required by the Law to sacrifice a Passover Lamb, and if we should be so bold to claim that Messiah Yahushua is our Passover Lamb, how can we prove that did we sacrifice HIM? This deed we accomplished through our sin. I say this because the Passover Lamb is a Peace Offering, and the Law requires that we lay our hands upon the head of our offering, and the Law also requires that we kill that offering (Leviticus 3:2.) Paul understood that Messiah Yahushua died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3). I challenge all Christians, including Christians like Lucy who speak against the Law, I challenge them to prove to me how they sacrificed their Passover Lamb without proving that they themselves are transgressors of the Law as Paul here teaches? They are between a rock and a hard place right here in their false belief because they all believe that Messiah Yahushua died in their stead! They thereby do not admit to any complicity in HIS death, and, therefore, they through their faith have not fulfilled the Law. They are cursed because they believe in a false Yahushua that died in their stead!)
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. (To be continued, ELOHIM willing, in an additional post.)
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto ELOHIM.
20 I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of ELOHIM, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of ELOHIMd: for if righteousness come by the law, then Messiah is dead in vain.

Thanking in advance any Christian that should be moved to reply and defend their faith according to the Scriptures, I am,

                    Sincerely, Latuwr

                      Being Under The Law!

                      Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

                      Shabbat Shalom!

Continuing with Galatians 2:15-21 where Paul states in verse 18:

18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. (What is it that Paul destroyed through the faith of Messiah Yahushua? Did not Paul destroy the sinner, that is, Paul himself? Absolutely! Paul understood and applied the true nature of sacrifice to himself. Paul understood that the one who brings and offers his or her sacrifice, Paul understood that they become one with that sacrifice. In other words, through offering the Passover Lamb, Paul and Yahushua do became one, and, therefore, when Messiah died, the sinner does also properly die. Should the sinner who died then turn around and continue in his or her sin after coming to a knowledge of how sacrifice really works from the perspective of ELOHIM, then such a sinner not only is engaged in first degree murder, but this sinner is also engaged in deliberate sucide!)
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto ELOHIM. (How could Paul make this statement if the nature of sacrifice is otherwise than what I have indicated above? How could Paul make this statement if sacrifice is substitutional as Christianity does teach and believe? Think about it folks! The Law requires the sinner to sacrifice. When you have fulfilled that Law, you die, and you have through the Law become dead not only to sin (see Romans 6:2) but also dead to any demand that the Law requires of sinners.)
20 I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of ELOHIM, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Paul understood through the faith of Messiah Yahushua, that he himself was crucified with Messiah. This execution was a spiritual execution graciously given to all men through the sacrifice of Messiah Yahushua who did HIMSELF physically die. Paul recognizes that he himself did not physically die with Messiah, but because he was spiritually united with Messiah in HIS death, now Paul is also spiritually being united with Messiah in HIS resurrected life (see Romans 6). Please allow me to ask this question: If the risen Messiah Yahushua lives in you and me, is it possible for you and me to physically die apart from martyrdom?)
21 I do not frustrate the grace of ELOHIM: for if righteousness come by the law, then Messiah is dead in vain. (What does Paul mean by asserting that he does not frustrate or set aside the grace of ELOHIM? Antinomians like Lucy would say that I myself set aside the grace of ELOHIM because I remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy in a physical sense. They are only partially correct in their assessment. How so? The Law does instruct me to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. If I fail to do so, then the Law requires my death if my sin is deliberate. If my failure was inadvertent, then the Law requires a sacrifice for my sin. When I bring the required sacrifice or when I physically die, I must admit that I am now doing or have completed what the Law requires. So, when I sin, please understand that, on the one hand, I am not doing what the Law demands, and when I sacrifice, understand, on the other hand, that I am engaged in doing what the Law requires of me. When I bring my sacrifice for my sin, I am listening to the Law, am I not? So, it is sinners that are really engaged in following the Law because of the command to sacrifice and the grace given to us through the Cross of Messiah Yahushua.

When these circumstances are applied to the sacrifice of Messiah Yahushua, the truth almost jumps off the page. I murdered Messiah Yahushua though both my deliberate and inadvertent sins. Messiah died because of my sin, did HE not? I, therefore, through my sin, have automatically been given a free gift of righteousness through the sacrifice of Messiah Yahushua. This free gift of righteousness, that is, a gift of doing what the Law requires through sacrifice, is the grace of ELOHIM? This grace is designed by YAHWEH Messiah Yahushua to give HIS Believers the right to LIFE NOW. I can set aside or frustrate this grace in two ways:
                      • By continuing in my sin whatever that sin might be (Romans 6:1-2)
                      • And I can set aside this grace by rejecting the sacrifice of Messiah as my Passover Lamb through insisting that I must also continue to sacrifice a physical Passover Lamb in order to have the right to LIFE NOW!
There is nothing wrong with sacrificing a physical Passover Lamb as long as this sacrifice does not stand in the place of the sacrifice of Messiah Yahushua. However, there is something extremely wrong with continuing in one's sin. Such sin, murders Messiah over and over again and proves that the sinner is actually standing in obedience to the Law. Such sinners prove that they are under the Law because they are engaged in sacrificing Messiah Yahushua. So, my dear Antinomian Friends, you are the very ones who frustrate or set aside the grace of ELOHIM by continuing in your sin of Sabbath Breaking.)

Thanking in advance any Christian (Antinomian) that should be moved to reply and defend their faith and their right to LIFE NOW according to the Scriptures, I am,

                      Sincerely, Latuwr

                        Observant Jews Verses Gentile Sinners!

                        Hi Everyone,

Blessings to you through Messiah Yahushua, My YAHWEH and My ELOHIM!

Messiah Yahushua had this to say about some observant Jews who were very good about completing physical works of the Law:

                        Matthew 5:20
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

I am a citizen of the Kingdom of Messiah Yahushua which is the Kingdom of Heaven (see Colossians 1:13), and belonging to this HIS Kingdom, it is my duty to promote the doing of Messiah's will here on this earth. I have already admitted on this thread that I am a Gentile Sinner. If so, how does my righteousness exceed the righteousness of those observant Jews who were very zealous for completing physical works of the Law?

The Apostle Paul had this to say about folks like myself:

                        Romans 9:30-33
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
                        32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

And the Apostle Paul had this to say about this Rock of Offence, My Messiah Yahushua, in writing about his forefathers who were delivered from Egypt:

                        1 Corinthians 10:4
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Messiah.

What water did the Rock, My Messiah Yahushua, give to the Israelites? HE gave them the Law, did HE not? And My Messiah Yahushua commanded the Israelites through Moses to choose life for themselves by completing everything commanded in the Law (see Deuteronomy 30:15-20).

The Law does promise life to those Jews who choose to live by doing the Law, but all these observant Jews fail to completely do the Law, and, therefore, they all die.

Christians reject the doing of the Law as the Water of Life, imagining that their Savior, Jesus, has paid their penalty for their sin through his substitutional suffering and death, whereby their Jesus also gives to each of them his merit, that is, a gift of his righteousness. They imagine that this grace saves them from an eternal death, and some Christians by believing in this substitutional righteousness also do hope in the Resurrection as do all good observant Jews which follow in the tradition of the Pharisees.

In two thousand years, neither observant Jews nor nonobservant Christians have been able to conquer physical death through either their practice or their faith, and, amazingly, even so, many Christians also believe that they can continually strike the Rock and live eventhough the record bears witness that the Rock should only be struck once (see Exodus 17:5-6, Numbers 20:7-8), and should our Rock be Messiah Yahushua, HIMSELF, the striking of this Rock should be without any foreknowledge whatsoever (see Luke 23:34).

The Law of ELOHIM required the death of Messiah Yahushua in order for the Water of Life to flow forth from HIM (see John 19:34), and the Law of ELOHIM later requires an expression of faith for this same Water to flow forth from the Rock for all those who are about to enter the Land of Promise (see John 4:10-14).

I submit that the Water of Life is the gift of righteousness that we receive through striking Messiah Yahushua through our disobedience or transgression of HIS Law, and I submit that the Water of Life later flows forth for us when we in faith ask Messiah to give to us the righteousness of ELOHIM to drink (Romans 10:1-13) in order that we might live and not die. We cannot drink of the Water of Life without admitting that we are sinners, and we cannot continue in the drinking of the Water of Life without repentance from our sin. These two facts apply equally to both Observant Jews and to Gentile Sinners.

Thanking in advance any that should be moved to drink from the Rock and then reply, I am,

                        Sincerely, Latuwr
