The Desperation of Jesus Christ...
The behavior of Jesus Christ became incoherent... Check this,
Luke 22:36 (NIV) He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
37 It is written: `And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."
38 The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough," he replied.
I detected a pattern in the NT. It is a very clever scheme for the alleged messiah of Israel to fit his life to comply with make-believe prophecies, “as he goes.” “And he was numbered with the transgressors” – It implies to me that he was actually forcing the fulfillment of some prophecy by setting up his Jewish disciples to be “transgressors” just like he set up Judas to betray him. I really need to write a book to describe all the incoherent incidents written in the NT.
Jesus Christ is telling his followers to buy weapons at all cost, even at the cost of selling one’s only garment and he is saying this during the celebration of a High Feast! Apparently, the need was imminent. To me this is not at all “spiritual” to depend on human weapons when Yahweh can do everything by his word. Moshe didn’t resort to any kind of human weapon to get Israel out of Egypt. The “king of kings” is a bit out of place to order his subjects to sell what they have and arm themselves. Especially when everybody else is at home partaking of the seder meal. When the disciples told him that they had 2 swords. He replied that it was enough. So what happened? Were 2 of the apostles carrying concealed weapons and Jesus Christ didn’t know? Apparently Jesus Christ didn’t do the multiplication number on the weapons that he used to do with the fishes and bread. The X miracle didn’t take place. This is probably what may have made him sweat blood. Was his miracle working power wearing out?
39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him (note: two of them were armed and considered dangerous cut-ears).
40 On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into temptation."
41 He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,
42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."
43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him (note: this angel was kind enough to come down from Heaven to soothe his anguish of impending death – not any human being is that lucky).
44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground (note: Hebrews 5:7 [NIV] During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Colossians 1:24 [NIV] Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.)
45 When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow (all 11 of them, peacefully sleeping. Saint Luke forgot to mention that this was done to fulfil prophecy, Proverbs 3:24 * when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.).
46 "Why are you sleeping?" he asked them. "Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation." (how can anyone fall into temptation while sound asleep? This is so incoherent!)
47 While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him,
48 but Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?" (Jesus Christ already begged Judas to go and betray him quickly. So why is this theater needed? John 13:27 [NIV] …"What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him)
49 When Jesus' followers saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, should we strike with our swords?" [Jesus Christ is not on record issuing the attack order, but he is on record not preventing anyone from attacking. It was after the attack that Jesus Christ said, “No more of this!” He temporarily suspended some Jewish head chopping that he told his disciples that they will do someday, Luke 19:27 (NIV) But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.'"]
50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51 But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him.
Did Jesus Christ actually issue the command to charge with the weapons? Did Jesus Christ wallow to give the order of attack? Did the Apostles decided to make use of weapons on their own? Did Jesus Christ change his mind when he saw that they were too many to fight with only 2 swords? He said “No more of this!” Apparently, plan “A” didn’t work for the alleged “king of kings” wannabe. It is funny that one of the apostles slices an ear to a Jewish soldier and the soldier and the whole regiment that came along stand there impassive watching Jesus Christ picking up the soldier's right ear from the dirt on the ground in the darkness of the night and putting it back where it belong. That is not a typical reaction for any armed soldier, or a cop, or a company of soldiers. Let’s be real for a moment! Can we? All this is happening in the middle of the celebration of a High Feast when everybody should be busy in family at home. Just moments ago Jesus Christ got through partaking of the most unusual seder meal with his disciples away from the family members. This is not what is commanded in HaTorah. The disciples were very incoherent at the seder, too. For a moment they thought that Judas left the table to go out in the middle of the night “to buy what was needed for the Feast” or “to give something for the poor.” “BECAUSE HE WAS IN CHARGE OF THE MONEY!” they said (anti-Semitism is implied here). How incoherent can anyone get? This disrespect for Yahweh's High Feast by itself is an error that trashes the rest of the NT. It is obviously a mockery of the type of Judaism practiced by the Jews and supposedly by Jesus Christ. He didn’t use his clairvoyance powers to read the minds of the disciples to correct their erroneous thoughts about what Judas was going to do. He let them sink in error. No wonder Christianity is totally dysfunctional among the Jews. It just doesn't see real life stuff. It is pure fantasy based on the Heathen concept of a human sacrifice to atone for sins. This is unheard of in the OT. If the resurrection of the messiah is so vital in all this, how come nothing is said in the Tanakh about it?

Actually the incoherence is general of the NT writers. Each one of them reports a different event before and after the alleged resurrection. Some resourceful preachers have a field day on Easter season telling how badly Jesus Christ fared at the hand of a Roman soldier wielding a cat-of-9-tails while Saint Peter was watching, and so on, when in effect Jesus Christ death was swift and sweet. Even Pontius Pilate was surprised that he died so quickly.
Mark 15:44 (NIV) Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died.
There are Christian “theologians” specializing in describing the alleged pain and suffering of Jesus Christ all the way to the cross. The same sources state that his pain is unmatched by any other human being in history. Christianity doesn’t give much thought about the Holocaust, the Christian Crusades, the progroms, and so on. If I were to stick to the NT records, then I must say that Jesus Christ had a nice crucifixion. While hanging on the cross he had a chance to present a whole bunch of arguments that led to the conversion of the “good burglar.” He also had time to disassociate himself from his mother. He prayed for the ignorant Roman soldiers who were crucifying him. He also argued with “his heavenly father” about his forsaken status. So he wasn’t that uncomfortable hanging from the cross. Or at least that is what the Christian writers of the NT are trying to tell us. The different view comes years later from Christian “theologians.” Sadly, every time a child sees the crucifix with the idol of a dead body on it and wants to know why is that, his/her godparents dutifully instruct the child that the Jews did it.
I hope that the documentation that I’m presenting here is valid. I really wonder why is it that nobody ever questions any of the points that I bring up in this post. Somebody must have a clear explanation.
