In my opinion the concept of Spiritual Israel is false or misleading. Christianity developed this concept so as to place themselves in a postion over natural Israel.
Isaiah 11
1) And a shoot goes out from the stump of Jesse and a Branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
2) And the spirit of YHUH will rest upon him...
3) And he is made to breathe in the fear of YHUH. But not by the seeing of his eyes will he judge, and not by the hearing of his ears make decisions.
4) But he will judge the weak in uprightness and will make decisions justly for the meek of the earth. And he will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5) And uprightness will be the girdle of his thighs and truth the girdle of his loins.
6) And the wolf will abide with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the lion cub and the fatling together, and a young boy leads them.
7) And the cow and the bear will feed as their young lie down together. And the lion shall eat hay like the ox.
8) And the infant shall play on the hole of the sap and on the den of the ader.
9) They shall not do evil nor destroy in all my holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHUH, even as the waters cover the sea.
10) And it will be in that day, the root of Jesse that stands as the peoples signal, nations will inquire of him and his place of rest will be glorified.
11) And it will be in that day AGAIN a second time, the hand of YHUH will procure the remnant of his people that remains from: Ashur, Mistrayim (Egypt), Pathros, Cush, Eylam, Shinar, Chamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12) And he will raise a signal to the nations and will gather the outcast of Israel and the scattered of Yahudah, collecting them from the four corners of the earth.
NOTE: What I see here is: when the promised one is raised up there will be peace and the whole earth will know of YHUH. In that day, which I believe to be the 1000 year reign of the promised one/messiah, YHUH will AGAIN, A SECOND TIME gather the remnant of his people (natural Israel) and bring them into the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (natural Israel). Just like he gathered them through Moses and brought them out of Egypt, this time he will gather them through the promised one. I do not see this gathering being done over thousands of years but over a very short period, enmasse. Also, I am of the opinion that this will also be the time when the New Covenant is made. I do not believe the Covenant is made while Israel is dispersed and spread out among all the nations of the earth, but after they are gathered.
Jeremiah 30
4) And these are the words that YHUH spoke concerning Israel and Yahudah.
5)For so says YHUH, We have heard a sound of trembling, of dread, and not of peace.
6) Ask now and see if a man can give birth? Why do I see every mans hands on his loins like a woman in travail, and all faces are turned to paleness?
7) Alas! For that day is great, for none is like it. And it is a time of trouble for Jacob. But he will be saved out of it.
8) For it will be in that day, says YHUH, I will break the yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds. And strangers will not enslave him again.
9) But they will serve YHUH, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

Jeremiah 31
8) Behold I will bring them from the north country and will gather them (natural Israel) from the corners of the earth...
9) They will come weeping and I will lead them with prayers.
10) Hear the word of YHUH, nations, and declare in the islands far away;
and say, He who scattered Israel (natural) will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd his flock.

Jeremiah 32
37) Behold, I will gather them (natural Israel) out of all the lands where I have driven them in my anger...And I will AGAIN bring them to this place and I will make them live in safety.

Joel 3
1) Behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the exiles of Yahudah and Jerusalem.
2) And gather all the nations and will bring them into the Valley of Yahushaphat. And I will enter into judgment there, with them, for my people and my possession Israel, whom they scattered among the nations and portioned out my land...
11) Assemble and come all nations, round about, gather yourselves there...
12) May the nations be aroused and come to the Valley of Yahushaphat. For there I will sit to judge all the nations all round.
13) Send the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down, for the press is full and the wine vats overflowing; for great is their evil.
14) Multitudes, multitudes in the Valley of Decision.
15) The sun and the moon grow dark and the stars gather in their light.
16) YHUH roars from Zion and puts forth his voice from Jerusalem, shaking the heavens and the earth. But YHUH is a refuge for his people and a fortress to the sons of Israel. And Jerusalem will be holy and those turning aside will not pass through her any more.
18) And it will be in that day, the mountains will drop down new wine, and the hills will flow with milk and the streams fo Yahudah will flow with water. A fountain will come forth from the house of YHUH, watering the winter stream of the acacia.
19) Mistrayim (Egypt) will become a desolation and Adum will become a desolate wilderness, because of the violence done to the sons of Yahudah, whose innocent blood they poured out in their land.
20) But Yahudah will dwell forever and Jerusalem to generation and generation.
21) And I will cleanse their blood not cleansed, and YHUH dwells in Zion.It seems that there will be a great time of trouble for Jacob (Israel) just prior to or at the beginning of the millenium, but as YHUH says, Jacob will be saved out of it and he will break their yoke. They will not be enslaved again, but will dwell safely on their land.
