I AM Weak!!!

I AM weak!!!
I AM in YOUR MERCY!
Not denied in YOUR ANGER;
But disciplined in YOUR PLEASURE.

I AM healed!
Even though my bones
And my soul feel troubled.
I AM waiting for YOU, YHWH.

I AM SAVED!!!
I AM delivered in YOUR return.
I AM alive and I give thanks, now!
I AM tired of my unfaithfulness!
All night I swim in my tears.
I drench my bed with tears.
In self pity, I waste my emotions.
I give in – to my enemy.
It gets old!!!

But, I know; I AM heard,
By YHWH, my GOD, in my weeping.
I AM heard in prayer
And my request are answered.

I AM FREED!!!
The demons of iniquity
Retreat ashamed and troubled.
In my weakness,
YHWH, my GOD, is with me!!!
YOU are MY STRENGTH!!!

I think I just now saw this poem for the first time. I really liked it. And I have recently realized that "to be weak, is--indeed--to be strong". Admitting weakness is a strength, in my opinion. I don't feel that we can ever be strong without having been weak first. Anyway, just wanted to make a short comment. Do you have anymore poems? I would love to read them.

These are stanzas were written in a personal book after studying the Psalms. If you look closely, you will see the same ideas the Psalms put out, but in a more personal way.

I wrote how the Psalms would sound if I put them in "first person". That has really helped. Now, I read YHWH's WORD (the LAW) in "first person" all the time.

I read YHWH's WORD (Genesis to Revelation) with my "accusing finger" pointed at me, instead of at another.

I AM in prayer to YOU.
Hear my voice, my cry,
My KING and my GOD.
I AM directing my voice to YOU.
Hear me, today, Oh, YHWH.

YOU are not a GOD who pleasures in wickedness
And evil will not dwell with YOU.
The boastful will not stand in YOUR sight.
YOU hate those who accumulate sin.
Liars YOU destroy.
